- We know George dropped another Dungbomb to create a diversion, but I think it will also require some movement. I'm picturing George dropping the Dungbomb, but also leaping to his feet, perhaps suggesting that the culprit is someone outside in the corridor, or perhaps just looking as though he was making a run for it. Either way, this will get Filch out from behind his desk and preoccupied with George, allowing Fred to slip open the cabinet. Did anybody else have anything different in mind?

Well, technically, George doesn't need to escape, just create a diversion!
I don't see how the twins can get out of this one without a detention, so perhaps it's just a question of making it worth their while.
