have been the best thing
Wow, this is the 4th time I'm posting this request. I know it's visible, because Verity and Julia have seen it (thanks!) and titled their posts accordingly. Could ALL Five Worders please:
The default setting has the title as "Re: Potty Game: Five Words (Volume XIV)" It has to be physically changed to 'Story #134 by going to the 'post title' box in a new post.Potteraholic wrote:I have a favor to ask you all... would you make sure that the the post title is 'Story #134'? Thanks!
My reasoning behind the request: I'm thinking ahead here, when it comes to future archiving of stories... since there's a handy 'post title' option here, why not use it? I've changed most of the post titles of the posts so far, but wonder if folks could just take a few seconds to do this when you post. Thanks, again.

laughed heartily, and Hermione added, "
Just establishing the speaker of that last bit of dialogue, as it had not been credited to anyone in the story. Time for another update, methinks.

Hi dizzy lizzy. Nice to see you here, after a bit of a spell.

asked him to stop," Lily
Reminder: there are only 2 children present in the café, Lily Potter and Hugo Weasley. The rest are on the Express.
I know it's good to identify the speaker in a dialogue section, but sometimes the speaker can be inferred and does not need to be explicitly identified: Ron shrugged but Hugo's eyes were wide. "But you wouldn't need magic, Dad, to teach him a lesson! You could've locked him up in a tiny little matchbox for me to keep, inside a strong cage,"
Okay, we have less than 60 posts before we get to 2,000 words. (That's why every word counts, especially now.

That's an interesting contrast between Ginny and her daughter, as we know Ginny was quite gung-ho and probably would have recommended a good, strong bat-bogey hex! However, as a mother, I imagine that Ginny is just happy that Lily can retain her childhood innocence for a bit longer, growing up in a world without Voldemort.
PAH, I agree that we're not going to be able to include the whole journey to Hogwarts in this story. Your suggestion about finishing with the confrontation with Draco makes sense, although depending on how many posts we have, we might just be able to squeeze in arriving at Hogsmeade. Nothing else really happens between the Draco confrontation and their arrival, does it? A countdown might be useful to keep us on track.

childhood innocence could be so ... strong, thanks to... etc. (Verity's idea)
Thanks for the comments, Verity. Let's see how much we can fit in and whether we can get to Hogsmeade without going over. So, by my calculations, since the last 2 posts had no 'posts left update'
