Apologies for the very late response! The answers were on my computer instead of the laptop I usually use and I never got round to turning the computer on and marking this...then forgot and went to Dublin.

Anyway, answers...

1. What was Archie wearing at the Quidditch World Cup? A flowered nightgown

2. Which wizard appears on a Hogwarts tapestry trying to teach Trolls ballet? Barnabas the Barmy

3. Who thought the time was ripe for a cheese cauldron? Humphrey Belcher I also always wondered how that one would work...

4. Which witch campaigned for house elves to be beheaded when they got too old to carry a tea tray? Sirius' aunt Elladora (pretty certain it works out as great aunt but appears as aunt in the book? I can't be bothered checking - she's an aunt of some kind )

5. What was Magnus 'Dent-Head' MacDonald famous for? Campaigning to restart the game Creaothceann - a very violent game with lots of deaths

6. What theory did Hambledon Quice develop? 'Wizards originate from Mars, Muggles from Mushrooms' I would never in a million years have got that one, and neither did anyone else.

7. Name something Uric the Oddball is famous for (there are a few...). Wearing a jellyfish on his head, listening to Fwooper song for months to prove it didn't make people crazy, only to turn up to a meeting with nothing but a hat on his head, which was actually a dead badger.

8. How many times was Wendelin the Weird burnt at the stake? 47

9. Who likes to wear a necklace of Butterbeer corks? Luna Lovegood

10. Who has a scar in the shape of London Underground? Albus Dumbledore I did wonder if the map updates itself as new lines are added? If it's a scar it shouldn't, but depending on when he got the scar it may be a bit out of date!

I gave half marks for a few things - 1/2 if you said dress instead of nightdress for Q1; 1/2 if you said Belcher instead of Humphrey Belcher (Q3) and 1/2 if you said Sirius' aunt instead of her actual name in Q4 (but did not allow 'relative').

It's nice that so many people took the quiz this time. Mrs. Sirius, remember to hide your answers, but it isn't necessary to edit for that this time because you were the last one to take the quiz. Some of the scores had sixths of a point because there were questions where half credit could be received as well as questions where one-third or two-thirds credit was possible.

All right, time to end this quiz!

I have given one point for each right answer and half a point if it was misspelled. Both Soli and Odo have answered “Locomotor Mortis” or "Locomotor Corpus" to question 5 but, according to the Lexicon, Locomotor Mortis is a “"Leg-Locker Curse". ("loco" L. from a place + "motionem" L. motion + "mortis" L. death ); Locks together the legs of the victim, making him or her unable to walk.” and other "Locomotor" spells are aimed at objects.

1 - Erases the ghost images of spells revealed by Priori Incantato. Possibly can be used to remove other spell effects as well.

Ok, time to move on to another Trivia! The answers...

1) What colour are McGonagall's robes at Harry's Sorting? Emerald Green. I didn't allow 'green' because there would have been a four-way tie if I had!

2) How does McGonagall usually style her hair? In a tight bun.

3) How many points did McGonagall deduct from Draco Malfoy when she caught him trying to catch Harry with the dragon? 20

4) What food did McGonagall conjure for Harry and Ron to eat after they crashed the Ford Anglia? Sandwiches (chicken and ham are mentioned as fillings)

5) Fill the blanks: 'Professor McGonagall poked a large spoon into the nearest tureen. "_____, _____?" Professor Trelawney ignored her.' "Tripe, Sybil?" One of my favourite lines.

6) What was the first name that McGonagall called out during the GoF Sorting? Ackerley, Stewart
