Please select 2 or 3 of your favorite quotes by Hermione Granger.
A) “I hope you’re pleased with yourselves. We could all have been killed –or worse, expelled!” PS/SS 9
B) “Neville, I’m really, really sorry about this.” She raised her wand, “Petrificus Totalus!” PS/SS 16
C) “At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in. They got in on pure talent.” CoS 7
D) “Twitchy little ferret, aren’t you, Malfoy?” GoF 22
E) “Been having a nice little chat with her about whether or not I’m a lying, attention-seeking brat, have you?” Harry said loudly. “No,” said Hermione calmly, “I told her to keep her big, fat mouth shut about you, actually. And it would be quite nice if you would stop jumping down Ron’s and my throats, Harry, because if you haven’t noticed, we’re on your side.”
F) “Ron,” said Hermione in a dignified voice, dipping the point of her quill into her inkpot, “you are the most insensitive wart I have ever had the misfortune to meet.” OotP 21
G) "Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have," said Hermione nastily, picking up her quill again.
H) “That’s the trouble with Quidditch,” said Hermione absentmindedly, once again bent over her Rune translation, “it creates all this bad feeling and tension between the Houses.” She looked up to find her copy of Spellman’s Syllabary and caught Fred, George and Harry looking at her with mingled expressions of disgust and incredulity on their faces. “Well, it does!” she said impatiently. “It’s only a game, isn’t it?” OotP 26
I) “This isn’t a criticism, Harry! But you do….sort of… I mean—don’t you think you’ve got a bit of a-- a-- saving people thing?” she said. OotP 32
J) "Oh, Harry, you're as bad as Ron...well, no, you're not." OotP, I think... (from memory, may not be an exact quote)

A) “I hope you’re pleased with yourselves. We could all have been killed –or worse, expelled!” PS/SS 9 This told us so much about Hermione's personality when we were just getting to know her.
G) "Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have," said Hermione nastily, picking up her quill again. One of the best putdowns of the whole series.
I) “This isn’t a criticism, Harry! But you do….sort of… I mean—don’t you think you’ve got a bit of a-- a-- saving people thing?” she said. OotP 32 Hermione displaying that Gryffindor bravery and saying what's on her mind despite the potential consequences.

A ... It's classic Hermione!
H ... I'm afraid I am rather like Hermione in this area. It reminded me of the day my class asked me who I wanted to win the Super Bowl, and I responded, "I don't know ... who's playing?" You could have heard a pin drop, they were so shocked. Truthfully, I could not have cared less!
Write-in vote: I'm sorry. I am afraid I must do it again. I like this one: "Just because it's taken you three years to notice, Ron, doesn't mean no one else has spotted I'm a girl!"
Sorry!

I was too late with this one - I would have voted G and D - but my favourite - "always the tone of surprise" wasn't there - has to be my favourite, as of course it is said back to her later!!!
sorry - I know polling has ended, but I am kicking myself that I missed this one.
