Marè- Nov 29, 2004 8:25 am (#2351 of 2965)

Hey! My feathers have all disappeared and I'm back to normal! *reaches in pocket and takes out the map* Hurrah! Now we can find Pyro's body! Good thing too, because I don't want to know what happens when you combine a semi-permanant canary cream with Snape drinks, thank you very much, Marè

*pouts* Well we need to try it out on some-one...
And you were such a handy dandy victim!

And whoa, Aria is 1. (Congratulations!!!) Time sure flies when you’re having fun.

O look, there it goes again!

wolfgrl - Nov 29, 2004 4:57 pm (#2352 of 2965)

Hey everyone, sorry I have been absent for a few days. They gave me a sleeping draft so that I could not mess up anyone’s Turkey Day with that whole full moon business. They said I slept like a cub.

So, now that we have the map again, what does it say? Where do we go?

By the way welcome everyone new and old. Gina, I did not even know you were an inmate, I guess I am too new. Welcome.

Liz Mann - Nov 29, 2004 6:01 pm (#2353 of 2965)

Oh yes, Gina is definitely an inmate. She is married to Snape, and helping him with his business venture making Snape drinks.

Pinky - Nov 29, 2004 6:42 pm (#2354 of 2965)

Hey Liz, I'm glad you're being so helpful and all, but lead us to Pyro's body, already! *threatens Liz with another canary cream*

Liz Mann - Nov 30, 2004 12:20 am (#2355 of 2965)
Edited by Nov 29, 2004 4:21 pm

Eek! Not another canary cream! Okay, okay, I confess! I... I... I can't read maps!

(Real reason is I can't think of anything interesting for it to say. )

Hermionefan(#1) - Nov 30, 2004 1:31 am (#2356 of 2965)

I'm not good at reading maps either, Liz. Anyone want to take over the map-reading job? No, no I mean someone who actually knows how?

A-is-for-Amy - Nov 30, 2004 1:57 am (#2357 of 2965)

Maybe her body is in my closet, being guarded by whatever is nesting in my pompons! I don't know if that's true, but maybe I can get someone to remove whateveritis to check!

Viola Intonada - Nov 30, 2004 2:28 am (#2358 of 2965)
Edited by Nov 29, 2004 6:29 pm

Oh, Happy belated birthday Aria!!!!

I got lost chasing some butterflies over a month ago, but I finally found my way back.

So, what's happening? Are we still looking for Pyro's body? Does that mean that the seeker position on our bedpan quidditch team is still open? *has an evil grin on her face*

Pigwidgeon - Nov 30, 2004 4:46 am (#2359 of 2965)

Here, let me see if I can make out the map! I'm good with directions

*studies map* Hmmm ... if I read this right, I think we are supposed to go ... thataway, to the left of that closet ... and mind the rabid pom-pom! Did I just see fangs coming out of it???

Julia. - Nov 30, 2004 6:11 am (#2360 of 2965)

*bumbles in from the AHHHH!, Two weeks to finals!!!! ward*

Yeah, sure Pig. You're great with directions. It only took us, what two hours to get from State College to Bellefont? And, how many wrong turns did we take, I lost count somewhere around 10.

*bumbles out screaming and kicking to the 'AHHHHHH! Two weeks to finals!!!!! ward*

Acceber - Nov 30, 2004 9:06 pm (#2361 of 2965)

I think I can read maps. I can usually keep track of where we are on rides on the rubber duck. Lemme see it. *grabs and looks at map* Wait, I can't read it. Too many little squiggly lines that don't make sense. Hold on. *flips map over, realizing it was upside down* I think we go down this hall, up the stairs, then through this secret passageway. Does that work?

I have no sense of direction whatsoever, so if I'm wrong, don't blame me .

Liz Mann - Nov 30, 2004 9:52 pm (#2362 of 2965)

So, what's happening? Are we still looking for Pyro's body? Does that mean that the seeker position on our bedpan quidditch team is still open? *has an evil grin on her face*

Yes we are still looking, using the map. And no the Seeker position is not open. Backup Seeker is though. But we're going to wait a bit before starting the next season.

A-is-for-Amy - Nov 30, 2004 10:07 pm (#2363 of 2965)

Oooh! I have an idea for a way to make Quidditch even more exciting! Blindfolds! Everyone wears blindfolds during the game! (Please note- I am not a player, only a cheerleader).

Elfcat - Nov 30, 2004 11:26 pm (#2364 of 2965)

*nearly faints at the sight of all the new posts* Do you realize it took me nearly 45 minutes to catch up? Good grief! Welcome new people and welcome back old people! Well, not old, just older than me... in most cases...

Blindfolded quidditch? Yikes! That'll make everyone's aim as bad as mine, won't it?

Hmmm... I'm not much with maps either. And I'm running out of things to say.

PyroGrl - Nov 30, 2004 11:30 pm (#2365 of 2965)

For some reason I woke up and my eyelid was swollen underneath. And it kinda hurts. And I am obsessed with Newsies. And you're getting really close to my ward. Watch out for the cupids. They shoot REAL arrows.

Gina R Snape - Dec 1, 2004 3:00 am (#2366 of 2965)
Edited by Nov 30, 2004 7:00 pm

Am I the only one who finds the little beasties in Amy's pompoms cute?

*feeds them lacewing flies*

Pigwidgeon - Dec 1, 2004 5:20 am (#2367 of 2965)

Oh, hrmph. I'll have you know, Julia, I only made 5(00) wrong turns, and we all got to our destination. Eventually.

wolfgrl - Dec 1, 2004 5:32 pm (#2368 of 2965)

They are cute Gina, but most of Amy's beasties usually only live from full moon to full moon. It is sort of a deal we have worked out. So enjoy them while they are still cute. This batch is over a month old as I was knocked out during the last full moon, so they are getting a bit larger than usual, and multiplying very quickly.

Liz Mann - Dec 1, 2004 9:13 pm (#2369 of 2965)
Edited by Dec 1, 2004 1:13 pm

We're getting close are we, Pyro? Hmm... *looks around and notices a door* I don't remember that door. Was that there before? Hey, do we have a Room of Requirement? We have been walking back and forth down this corridor thinking about what we're looking for after all. *opens the door* Hey! I found it! Pyro's body's in here!

wolfgrl - Dec 1, 2004 9:39 pm (#2370 of 2965)

WooHoo, that is great. Are we sure it is her body? Is the potion ready to rejoin her to her body? Oh wow look what her body is propped up against, it is a giant box of Christmas decorations. Apparently we required that too.

After we rejoin Pyro to her body, we can celebrate by having a decorating party.

Hermionefan(#1) - Dec 1, 2004 10:10 pm (#2371 of 2965)
Edited by Dec 1, 2004 2:12 pm

OoOoOoh Christmas decorations!!! I love putting up Christmas decorations! And we have to cut down a tree, anyone around here allowed to play with chain saws? They took mine away for some reason

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot... Yay, we found pyro's body!

Liz Mann - Dec 1, 2004 11:34 pm (#2372 of 2965)

I don't like the idea of cutting down real Christmas trees. Over here in the UK we have good quality fake ones.

PyroGrl - Dec 2, 2004 12:29 am (#2373 of 2965)

Dearest mother had to go and buy a twirling Christmas tree. Because, you know, EVERYONE needs them.

Potions Mistress - Dec 2, 2004 1:59 am (#2374 of 2965)

Yea! Pyro's body has been found! With Christmas decorations, even better! Anybody up for a sing-along?

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me a bedpan in a fake tree!

Sabotage - Dec 2, 2004 2:33 am (#2375 of 2965)

*sits in the middle of the floor, looking miserable*

*tear falls down cheek*

Sabotage - Dec 2, 2004 3:02 am (#2376 of 2965)

My best friend is mad at me...

*more tears*

And I can't understand why!

*throws self down on the floor and begins sobbing,*

Potions Mistress - Dec 2, 2004 3:09 am (#2377 of 2965)

Oh, don't cry Sabby. Here, have a cookie. *hands a candy-cane shaped cookie*

Pinky - Dec 2, 2004 3:46 am (#2378 of 2965)
Edited by Dec 1, 2004 7:47 pm

Liz, I don't understand. Why do you use chainsaws to cut down all those fine fake trees? *shakes head* Must be a British thing.

So, is Pyro alive again? Ooh, look! A Santa suit straightjacket! I'm gonna try it on. Can someone help me tie up the laces?

Gina R Snape - Dec 2, 2004 4:47 am (#2379 of 2965)

*trips over Pyro* Oh, sorry dear. Didn't see you down there!

Sure, Pinky. I'll help you with those laces...

wolfgrl - Dec 2, 2004 1:46 pm (#2380 of 2965)

On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me two canary creams,

and "a bedpan in a fake tree!"

Jeeej! Pyro is back!

Here Sabbie, have a canary cream deLuxe. Maybe you will feel better, and then again maybe you will feel slightly not yourself.

How about we got into spirit by doing secret santa!

*Stumbles out of the 'been watching POA on DVD' ward**

Whoa... what did I miss... *rubs eyes* I could swear I seen Caitlin & Gina running about.... Welcome back guys! Howdy to all the new patients.... just watch out for the trick step on floor three that leads to a helter skelter that shoots you out into the garden... or perhaps that’s only just happened to me after copious amount of blue jello.... That'll teach me to eat stuff that I find on the floor!

Yeay... Pyro is back in Corporeal Form.... woohoo *runs to hug Pyro* I think that deserves a party (hint hint)

Before that I think I might spend some time in the 'I can't believe Aria is One already' ward!

Ooh look out guys -- there’s a ward back there with these little fat bald guys in nappies (diapers) shooting arrows with hearts on them *twang....* Oh dear... one just got me... *faints*

Marè- Dec 2, 2004 3:29 pm (#2383 of 2965)

Ooh look out guys theres a ward back there with these little fat bald guys in nappies (diapers) shooting arrows with hearts on them *twang....* Oh dear... one just got me... *faints*

I'm not worried, Marè. As everyone already knows, my heart belongs to Sev...

Elfcat - Dec 2, 2004 5:46 pm (#2385 of 2965)

Woohooo! I have finally gotten around the stinkin' internet restrictions! Can anybody say "Free time at the end of web design class"? haha! Congats on finding Pyro, hope she hasn't decayed at all...

My friend is reading over my shoulder, now she's randomly clicking links all over the Lexicon site to find where I am. If she could get here she'd probably fit right in.

A-is-for-Amy - Dec 2, 2004 7:31 pm (#2386 of 2965)

Gina! Are you all right? Great Merlin's ghost! She's been shot by cupid's arrow! *Hides*

Edited by Dec 2, 2004 2:59 pm

On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me, three cups of jello, two Canary Creams, and a bedpan in a fake tree!

Good to see you pyro. *Hug* It's kinda hard to hug a ghost, ya know? So, what do you guys think we should do with Gina? I suggest we blindfold her, lock her in a closet, and don't let her out till Snape comes around... unless... *evil grin* we could get her to fall in love with someone else...

Potions Mistress - Dec 3, 2004 4:38 am (#2388 of 2965)

I don't, Hermionefan(#1), that sounds kind of mean and evil...let's do it!! But who? *Begins looking for suitable candidate*

On the fourth day of Christmas my true gave to four funny jackets, three cups of jello, two Canary Creams, and a bedpan in a fake tree!

Marè- Dec 3, 2004 7:46 am (#2389 of 2965)

If we're going for evil, (she would appreciate that, being a devious Slytherin and all...) I'd say, my vote to: Gilderoy! He hangs around here somewhere doesn't he?

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me, five calamari-rings, four funny jackets, three cups of jello, two Canary Creams, and a bedpan in a fake tree!

**opens eyes*

Huh, what on earth just happened..... I feel all floaty & like I've eaten a load of chocolate! *eyes begin to focus & gaze falls upon the fake Christmas tree in the corner* Whoa... he's gorgeous.... *runs off to hug tree* Hello everyone... have you all met Chris o' Fir *manic grin* Isn't he lovely!

Marè... Bill who? *looks at Marè with an oddly blank expression... well actually, those who know me, know that I often have a blank expression on my face... but you know what I mean *

*sings* Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas tree... how lovely are your branches... la la laaaaa.... Oh, Hello Mr. Nice Nappy Man... why are you trying to stab me with that arrow?... gooooo awaaaay!

On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me.... Six Chocolate Frogs, five calamari-rings, four funny jackets, three cups of jello, two Canary Creams, and a bedpan in a fake tree!

Gina R Snape - Dec 3, 2004 4:40 pm (#2391 of 2965)

Eight Mermaids Mewling, Seven SkivingSnackboxes, Six Chocolate Frogs, Five calamari rings, Four funny jackets, Three cups of jello, Two canary creams, and a bedpan in a fake tree!

There! That ought to do it for Gina. Er... where did the little fat guy come from...

A-is-for-Amy - Dec 3, 2004 8:18 pm (#2394 of 2965)

*Quickly dons suit of armour to avoid flying arrows* Someone hold Aria up in front of Ticker before she can look at anyone else!

*sings* On the tenth day of Christmas my true love sent to me ten winking Lockharts, nine mutant puffskeins, Eight Mermaids Mewling, Seven Skiving Snackboxes, Six Chocolate Frogs, Five calamari rings, Four funny jackets, Three cups of jello, Two canary creams, and a bedpan in a fake tree!

Not Hermy, too! Her parents will FREAK if she falls in love with some strange St. Mungo's resident! Here Hermy, look at this picture of homework!

Wolfgrl - try to look less like you! Stop chasing the pointy sticks!

Who let these infernal cupids out, anyway? I think I'm going to have to fill the catapult with jello cubes to get rid of them all!

Liz Mann - Dec 4, 2004 12:41 am (#2402 of 2965)

Maybe it was Lockhart.

Gina R Snape - Dec 4, 2004 1:22 am (#2403 of 2965)

PyroGrl - Dec 4, 2004 2:18 am (#2404 of 2965)

I warned you about the Cupids, didn't I? Well, they can't hit those already swooning over Ste...er...someone. **sighs** He's so TALENTED...

Uh oh... did I just let the cupids out?
Everybody duck!

Ooooh, pretty duck!

Ahhhhhh, help hide me pleeeese. Sabatoge is trying to kill me.

Liz Mann - Dec 6, 2004 2:31 pm (#2412 of 2965)

I can risk the KBR encounter, "I am a good werewolf, I really am" *Darts up to the Attic*

Amy, could you set some of your beasties up to guard the corridor up to the attic? This is no fun at all I want to set up Christmas decorations.

How did Sabatage Kisser get out of the 'Random comments are my specialty ward' anyway? I thought that ward was magically sealed?

Marè- Dec 6, 2004 3:48 pm (#2414 of 2965)

I can risk the KBR encounter

Ooooh, trust me, you can't. The Killer Bunny Rabbit still lingers from Carina's days of prime. He is.. She is.. It is... Well maybe it is just best not to mention it's name too much, you never know if it hears and... takes offense...

Although, what would happen if we direct one of those flying diapers to the KBR?

wolfgrl - Dec 6, 2004 4:08 pm (#2415 of 2965)

OK then I need to hide somewhere else. I will take care of that KBR at the next full moon so that the Attic is safe again. Maybe we need to direct the flying diapers at Sabotage Kisser. I would much rather be loved than killed. *runs down attic stairs towards the kitchen tries to find some ware else to hide* Can someone please try to get that antidote from Marè to help Sabotage, Please? Please? Please?

*Hears someone singing in the freezer*

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me eleven green fur goats, ten winking Lockharts, nine mutant puffskeins, Eight Mermaids Mewling, Seven Skiving Snackboxes, Six Chocolate Frogs, Five calamari rings, Four funny jackets, Three cups of jello, Two canary creams, and a bedpan in a fake tree!

Pinky - Dec 6, 2004 4:27 pm (#2416 of 2965)

Ok, this calls for serious intervention. *whispers to cupids and waves them in Sabby's direction* wolfgrl, I think in a few minutes, once they've had a chance to shoot Sabby full of arrows, just stand within her vision, and you should have a best friend.

Elfcat - Dec 6, 2004 6:07 pm (#2417 of 2965)

Good grief, look at all of those cupids! I refuse to be shot unless Legolas is in the room!!

Edit: I am actually listening to an Irish version of that melody right now, with the drums and flutes and bagpipes..I can almost see McGonagall singing it. Well, maybe not quite, but maybe Dumbledore...

Liz Mann - Dec 7, 2004 11:13 pm (#2425 of 2965)

You can see McGonagall singing it? I should think she'd be more likely to be playing the bagpipes.

*runs to freezer and opens it* Sirius? Sirius? Are you in here? *face falls* For a moment, I was hopeful.

Oh well. Life goes on.

Fawkes Forever - Dec 8, 2004 1:59 pm (#2426 of 2965)

Perhaps I could sing it for you Kabloink! *looks around as everyone shakes their heads, looking terrified... Fawkes shrugs & goes back to staring starry eyed at 'Chris O' Fir'*

wolfgrl - Dec 8, 2004 2:18 pm (#2427 of 2965)

So apparently the freezer was empty Liz??? I wonder who was singing and how they got out of there. *Ducks another flying arrow* Has anyone given Sabby the antidote yet? I am tired of hiding in the kitchen.

Elfcat - Dec 8, 2004 5:35 pm (#2428 of 2965)

Maybe the freezer itself is singing? Or there could be some snow-dwelling little creature in there that's really good at hiding.

Ticker - Dec 8, 2004 8:04 pm (#2429 of 2965)

*Flares nostrils* Really Gina? You like the hook to my nose? Oh thank you, thank you. And I must say, black becomes you quite well. I “siriusly” like it. One Snape beverage will do, as long as I get to share it with you...

Wait a minute! The freezer is singing? Liz quick! Let me see your map... *Flips over map & holds it up to the light...*

Yes! It's just as I thought. There's some sort of homing signal between the map & Pyro's body! That's why the freezer is singing and this spot marked "Library" is blinking to the beat. One of those freezer bags must have Pyro's body in them! It makes perfect sense! Wolfgrl, see if you can sniff her out.

Speaking of smells... Gina, have you been standing over a cauldron lately? I find that scent so irresistible...

Liz Mann - Dec 8, 2004 10:15 pm (#2430 of 2965)

Um, Tinker... we've already found Pyro's body. Which reminds me, have we actually revived her yet?

So much for my brilliant deduction. Well, what is going on in the Library, I wonder...

BTW, Fawksy - so good to see you roaming the halls again... and your er,... date?

Gina R Snape - Dec 9, 2004 1:33 am (#2432 of 2965)

Why, I've been working on a revival potion, actually. Care to try some?

Wait a minute, we have a library!!??!!

I wonder what it will contain, no doubt it has the complete works of who-is-he? !
Oooooh... To the library it is!

Umm...Where is the library?

That's it! We can't have possessed persons, beasts, beings or spirits (well I guess that last one's redundant) running around trying to kill the patients. Sorry Sabby, but until you're unpossessed and can play nice with the other kids, I'm going to have hypnotize you.

Look at the little spinning spiral on my ring, you're feeling sleepy. That's it, nice and calm. Now when I clap my hands, you will wake up thinking you're a...ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......

Marè- Dec 10, 2004 7:48 am (#2441 of 2965)

...thinking you're a Blue speckled mushroom!

(they are statuary, so they can't do much harm...)

Okay, on to the library! I got to Hedrick the Headless, anybody know what we keep in our dungeons? KBR is in the attic, right, so he can't be in there? But it's looking rather dark and I was wondering if we have any volunteers who might be willing to dip a toe in first....

Elfcat - Dec 10, 2004 6:01 pm (#2442 of 2965)

A dungeon at St. Mungo's? I'm seeing piles of rotten canary creams, enormous vats of Jello, a pile of possessed teddy bears in one corner, possibly the remains of the giant rubber duck (or is that in the attic?). Oh, and watch out for Amy's old pets. Those that escaped took up residence down there.

wolfgrl - Dec 10, 2004 7:24 pm (#2443 of 2965)

I don't know if we want to wait until Christmas to find the library, but it will be a full moon the 25th or 26th (I will have to check for sure) If you guys want I can go take care of any roaming beasties then.

Split personality? Well, I thought it was obvious. Doesn't everyone here have split personalities?

No, of course not, nitwit! Just because you do doesn't mean everyone else does.

But I thought that was why people went in and out of the different wards. One moment you're Lupin-is-James obsessed, the next you're ready to proclaim til your dying day that it's all a bunch of hooey, and--

What a load of flesh-eating slug repellant to take from the mouth of a DIGS fanatic.

*is dragged away into the Sane World is Too Demanding Ward*

Oh, I had the oddest dream. 50 Tickers were singing Christmas carols in the hallways of St. Mungos while Severus was banging at the door trying to get in. Sabotage Kisser was stringing Christmas lights while Pyro walked around dousing all the torches and candles. Professor Sprout was busy rounding up bowtruckles that were in the basement making themselves into pyramids. And Pigwidgeon was plucking feathers out of a canary-shaped canary cream.

And Hermionefan was hugging the walls!

. . .

Oh, hang on. That one was real!

Hermionefan(#1) - Dec 12, 2004 10:42 pm (#2458 of 2965)

But why not? The wall is sooo pretty!

Pigwidgeon - Dec 13, 2004 3:40 am (#2459 of 2965)

*PHTHOOEY!* And those feathers did NOT taste very good, either! I thought it was a marshmallow Peep leftover from those Easter Baskets KBR gave out two years ago (Peeps are better stale )

Marè- Dec 13, 2004 2:32 pm (#2460 of 2965)

Ooooh, Christmas decorations.

Let's put up a Christmas tree. If everyone puts in one item, I think it would grow to become quite beautiful.

I happen to have a few Pixies for decorating (no Amy, not Cornish Pixies). See, you just put a heavy piece of fudge in one hand & a piece of popcorn in the other & they fly in glittering spirals around the tree. Cool, eh? You just have to replenish their desserts every so often & they'll be happy for weeks.

Hermionefan, paid members have the option of having the star show or not. I like my star, I think it's festive. FYI, I believe Kip is creating an active list if you want to try for the chance to get sponsored. I feel for ya. I seriously doubt my parents would've forked over cash for me to have an online life when I was in sixth grade (if the internet was around then, that is...).

*pulls out secret wand and hurls a cheering charm at Hermionefan*

Coooeeeee... Hello Darlinks (Zsa Zsa Gabor style accent) *skips in with several Harrods shopping bags & an oversized floppy hat* Did you miss me?

The healers claimed that they found me hugging a Christmas tree (I ask you) & they took me away to a ward on my own! They then gave me some kind of medicine that 'cured me'.... however it had scarey side effects... temporary sanity! So they discharged me.... *shock horror & all that*

So I've spent the past few days wandering around muggle London... was rather fab actually! I found a credit card in my pocket for one L. Malfoy... (no idea where that came from ), so I decided to go on a little shopping spree to get you all a little pressie *dumps bags down & begins to take out brightly coloured parcels with names of fellow inmates on them & places them under Christmas Tree*

Gosh that tree is looking a little bit bedraggled... hmm, I wonder what happened to it... *looks innocent*

Anyways.. after I visited Harrods to get your pressies... I went to do some shopping on Oxford Street... where there where pictures of Harry, Ron & Hermione everywhere... which was rather strange. That said... spending a few hours trying to navigate the Christmas Shopping madness on Oxford Street soon returned me to my current state of insanity... yipeee!

The healers came to fetch me from Oxford Street when I had climbed on top of a street light singing "Hoggy Hoggy Hogwarts" at the top of my lungs.... ah t'was fun....

Thank you Fawkes! You're so kind and thoughtful, even if someone else is paying for it! But hey, as Acceber said, it's the thought that counts.

For all of you who are as broke as I am at the moment, I feel your pain about the avatars. And for all of you have finals, I also feel your pain. Just one more to go, then I'm free!! (Well, to work, but then I can afford my membership fee.)

* Hangs a real electric guitar on the tree, because Christmas carols are just so much cooler when they're played on the electric guitar. And if you don't believe me, then you should listen to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

I know where it is and when I get home I'm going to open a stupid photobucket account or something the like so we can have our discoball again. We've gone long enough without it!

But in the meantime: a papermaiche one would be absolutely fabulous! You don't do fish by any change? I need three paper maiche fish for my mum for Christmas.

And oh, isn't that a lovely tree, it erm... misses needles at one side and it has a rather large ornamental guitar, but it definitely has its charm!

Ticker - Dec 15, 2004 3:40 pm (#2481 of 2965)

Potions Misstress, I definitely agree - no Christmas is complete without the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Although, it might just be me, but I think Beethoven's 9th goes with the season quite nicely as well. *Turns up radio playing it in the background.. "Alle Menschen werden Bruder...!" Righto, I'd open presents too but I'm researching exorcism. Poor Sabby.

I just saw another relative of KBR. I saw a commercial for the movie "A Christmas Story". Poor Ralphie's Christmas present from Aunt Clara. For you guys that haven't seen the movie, his aunt gives him a pink bunny rabbit pajamas complete with ears feet and tail. The feet are pink bunny slippers. I tried finding a picture but I couldn't.

Tessa's Dad - Dec 18, 2004 8:04 pm (#2499 of 2965)

Can someone give me a hand? We need to get Liz off the floor. I guess I should have offered the spare disco ball I keep in my fancy St. Mungo’s Sports Jacket.

I’ll hang my psychedelic miniature toilet seat ornament on the tree. I made it in the Arts and Crafts Ward.

Ahh, I see holiday preparations are continuing as usual, which is to say, chaotic.

Say, Gina, is there an eggnog flavor of the Snape drinks? Mmmmm...eggnog. I had an eggnog latte at Starbucks and it was nummy!

zzzzzzzzzzzzz.... (snort).... wait a second.... I was just hypnotizing Sabby! What am I doing hanging from a Christmas tree? Who wrapped me in tinsel? Why's Liz passed out on the floor with a broken disco ball? Why aren't we using the diamond-encrusted one we got from the proceeds of the yard sale (say, that would make a great tree-topper)?

Looks round... spies a 'few' pressies missing from under the tree & eyes Pinky... who is innocently whistling to herself... *

Hmmm, you wouldn't know anything about missing presents Pinky... no? Just be warned, there's a jinx on the wrapping paper... if you open before you're supposed to, the little snowmen yell out "Sneaky Peaky" over & over again *evil grin*

Oh Merlin! *spots Liz & her disheveled appearance*... did the KBR do that? *feels guilty* Ummm, sorry ‘bout that 'double dare' I was joking honest *shifty Lockhart look around room followed by nervous forced laugh*

Hohum... anyhoo... here... open your pressie Liz... might make you feel a bit better! *throws large pressie at Liz, covered in sparkly wrapping paper* Just watch out for that jinx... seeing as Liz gets to open her pressie... the rest of you might as well too! We can drown out the wrapping paper squeaks with some of these 'Everlasting Jingle Bells' Tinsel from Weasleys Wizard Weezes...

Have fun everyone.... thanks for the drinkies Gina

Wayhey.... everyone... dig in... pressies.. WolfGrl... there's one in there for you somewhere... dig .. dig I tells ya!

Marè- Dec 20, 2004 7:56 pm (#2516 of 2965)

I’ve seen the pictures of the storms in Paris... glad to hear you're ok

*Hugs back*

There was no storm in Paris while I was there, there was storm on the way to Paris... And no busses! (gets still angry about that, city with 250,.000 people and the 2nd time in three weeks that there are no busses!)

So I missed my train, and the other one had delay because of the storm, and then somewhere in the middle of nowhere they decided to cancel it altogether, and then we had to get another train, which was delayed because of the weather, and which got even more delayed because of the same grrrr weather. So I arrived in Paris 5 hours later than planned...

It’s a good thing we have a submarine and no train! (or busses!)

My, Pinky, that wrapping paper looks lovely. Keep on unwrapping and we have enough to put it on the walls in our new "I'm dying to know what Jo has put behind that advent calendar" ward!
And yes, this chaos I love, potions mistress...
*Jumps on the nearby couch*

prof sprout - Dec 21, 2004 2:30 pm (#2527 of 2965)

Okay residents, I'll be taking reservations for the "I'm reading, leave me alone" ward now. As you know the ward will be filled up starting July 16th. Also, this ward is a privilege, not a right. So anyone misbehaving badly enough may get put in the "I can’t read because my annoying younger sibling won't leave me alone" ward. And don't think because you may or may not have a younger sibling you won't get bothered. St. Mungo’s has hired younger siblings and gave them pure sugar to get them ready for you.

Now this is the harshest punishment that St. Mungo’s will levy. So please be careful. Many holiday cheers.

Love, prof sprout (Jenna)

Pinky - Dec 21, 2004 2:49 pm (#2528 of 2965)

*eyes widen in horror at Prof Sprout's dire threats* I'm placing my still-wrapped present back under the tree; please, nobody trip on the 36 yards of paper that has been pulled off it so far! I hope this qualifies me as behaving properly. Can I have... *voice trembles* a reservation for a room in the "I'm reading leave me alone" ward please? It can be a small one. All I want is a nice cushy chair, something to drink, and a tin bedpan.

Marè- Dec 21, 2004 2:56 pm (#2529 of 2965)

*finishes her drink*

Whatever it does, I'm ready for it!
And I'd like a reservation too, please!

Hmm, Pinky, I think we have enough wrapping paper to redecorate the entire hospital.
I call dibs on the polka dot design for my room... if only i could remember where it was...

hmmm ticker *raises eyebrow* indeed.. how did I know

Pinky... if you tear the paper off rather than unwrapping it Hermione style (guilty of that one myself) it should come off in one... I think!

Put me down for a bean bag in the 'leave me alone I'm reading' on the 16th.... & seeing as St Mungo’s is in England... we can get the book on the stroke of midnight... wooohoo so excited...

Deck the halls with padded rubber .... Fa la la la la laaaaaaaa

I am feeling very jolly....

Getting into the Christmas spirit now... even the bad dementors at work can't get me...

Gina R Snape - Dec 21, 2004 4:24 pm (#2531 of 2965)
Edited by Dec 21, 2004 8:24 am

Yes, I should probably mention that the Magical Mulled Cider is perfectly harmless, child-safe, and kosher. However, it does have one side effect. When you drink it, the first silly thought or spell that comes to mind will spring to life. For example, if you start thinking about Christmas songs, you will wind up singing them for a short spell. If you get a fit of the giggles, they will last at least 2 minutes. If you think to decorate your room with polka dots--everything in the room including yourself will be temporarily covered in polka dots! But only festive things will happen. No one will be locked into a jellylegs curse for two minutes, for example...

Ok, have fun!

btw, this recipe was the aftermath of a Weasley experiment in the Potions classroom that Severus discovered one day, er, quite by accident.

A-is-for-Amy - Dec 21, 2004 4:49 pm (#2532 of 2965)

I'll reserve my spot for the "Don't bother me, I'm reading" ward, please I'd also like to donate my children as younger siblings to run about and bug others (so they won't be bothering me) I have two boys 7 & 5, who are experts at this sort of thing.

Erm, Gina - is the cider supposed to make my hair fall out? *Feeds some to puffskien* who knew they were made almost entirely of hair?

Gina R Snape - Dec 21, 2004 5:25 pm (#2533 of 2965)

No, Amy. Only pleasant things happen. That must be you pulling out your hair in all the excitement about the publication date announcement for HbP...

Ooh! Pretty please, I want a reservation in the 'Don't Bother Me, I'm Reading' Ward! And I am more than happy to donate my personal younger sibs for the punishment of other residents. And about time someone else starts feeling my pain! They are female, 12; and male, 5. Good luck getting them to do anything you say!

Presents! Where's mine? I mean- *ahem* May I please have my gift, and thank you so very much!

And Gina- toss over a cider (or a case)! I want to experiment to see what I can make happen. What did Sev think, with only pleasant things happening?

Gina R Snape - Dec 21, 2004 6:36 pm (#2535 of 2965)

He was annoyed, of course!

But ultimately, the slytherin in him recognised the potential for holiday sales...

Marè- Dec 21, 2004 7:19 pm (#2536 of 2965)

If you think to decorate your room with polka dots--everything in the room including yourself will be temporarily covered in polka dots!

You know, you could have warned me for that, I would have chosen a floral design if I would have known that I was going to end up dotted as well...

Yes! Yes! Happy Birthday Elfcat! I hope you like the Extended-extended version of LOTR that I got for you. Mainly extended footage of Legolas...

Thanks for the cider Gina! Wow! Did we ever find the cupid transfigured into a house-elf with tentacles and a pink bedpan with golden ornaments on it's head that is trying to fly through the wall while leaving a trail of coconut shaped purple flowers and ringing a bell? Because THERE IT IS!!!!

One more for the DBMIR Ward. I’ll need a comfy chair, a good light, and a little Chamber Music. Please have a House Elf on duty to supply me with a wonderful Muggle invention called “Espresso.” I will do a complete read through in one setting. Could even try reading it twice in one setting! Better put my chair near a loo!

I may try for a third reading if supplied with enough Green Jello!

I was referring to my skills, or lack thereof, in the kitchen. But your way works, too.

Potions Mistress - Dec 28, 2004 3:17 am (#2567 of 2965)

Heehee!! This is why I love St. Mungo's...Oh, I too would like to reserve my spot in the DBMIR ward. I have a younger sibling, but he's 19, so I don't think he can be annoying as he once was. But, I do have two cousins, hyperactive girls, ages 8 and 9 who I can supply. Hope everyone had/has a very happy holiday season and that those who celebrate with gifts got what they wanted (just the announcement of HBP was enough for me!).

wolfgrl - Dec 28, 2004 2:47 pm (#2568 of 2965)

It's starting to look like we're going to have to convert the whole hospital into the DBMIR ward!

Anyone up for a little ice-fishing?

I Love the snow!

Sabotage - Dec 28, 2004 9:30 pm (#2570 of 2965)

Can I place a reservation for the DBMIR ward for the first of July? And I can provide an annoying sibling and she'll annoy everyone times a million.

Ticker - Dec 29, 2004 8:27 pm (#2571 of 2965)

Planning on doing a bit of decorating before HBP arrives, Sabby?

Emily, you have just reminded me of the butler who pops up in the movies out of nowhere. Wow! Good to see you again. Don't tell me it's snowing in NC... Ice-fishing? OK, but you go out on the lake first...

(Wonders how Prof. Sprout is holding up with all the annoying younger siblings she's getting ready to inflict upon the naughty... I'll not be surprised to see her checked into a room soon...)

Emily - Dec 29, 2004 9:27 pm (#2572 of 2965)

Yep, Ticker. Or it was... I live in Charlotte (in the south west), but I'm visiting Raleigh (central). They got a good snowfall the morning we got here. In all the yards surrounding where I am the snow has already melted, but I guess this house faces just the right way 'cuz the snow keeps melting and re-freezing... so, ice fishing! (Wow, that was really rambling... but this is St. Mungo's, after all.)

Emily, you have just reminded me of the butler who pops up in the movies out of nowhere.

Huh? I was gone for a while, but was it really that long? Good to be back, I guess. The outside world is so boring, and so incredibly sane!!

Sabotage - Dec 29, 2004 10:21 pm (#2573 of 2965)

Yup, Ticker. I want to feel at home in the ward so I'm planning on putting a mechanical bull in there. It'll take a while to build the stage for the dance floor in there though, and I haven't quite figured out how to make the traps for the siblings. I thought maybe lasers and blinking lights might daze them for a while but when I tried it on my younger sister it didn't quite work.

Maybe I can stupefy them to sleep by making them eat turkey or something.

Ticker - Dec 30, 2004 12:36 am (#2574 of 2965)
Edited by Dec 29, 2004 4:39 pm

Well, in that case Emily... it's only wonderful to see you instead of absolutely spiffing.

Pssssssst.... Sabby - you should sneak a stock pile of green jello into your room... er,... what's the mechanical bull for?

prof sprout - Dec 30, 2004 2:58 pm (#2575 of 2965)

Thank you for your concern Ticker, I may have to check in myself to the DBMIR ward. I will probably become a resident because of all these wedding plans. I'm trying to get everything together before Jan 15th because I do taxes in the muggle world. So from Jan to Apr I have no life. So hopefully I can get stuff done for my June wedding. But I'm very happy that the book is not coming out around my wedding date. I have over a month to calm down from the wedding and honeymoon, so I should be in great shape for the book.

Emily - Dec 30, 2004 9:42 pm (#2576 of 2965)
Edited by Dec 30, 2004 1:43 pm

Oh, Ticker, it can still be absolutely spiffing to see me, can't it?

As to traps for siblings, Sabby, I usually find that once I pick something up it is approximately 21.8593 seconds before they come rushing into the room saying that they were about to come use it, and they want it, so I'd better give it to them now! I expect that if you cleverly hide some nets and trip wires around your room and then pick up a shared toy, it will work fantastically! Happy hunting! (If you're not that patient, stun guns and laced sweets work well, unless you've got a problem wasting candy or electricity on someone so annoying.)

Gina R Snape - Dec 31, 2004 6:47 am (#2577 of 2965)

I should once again like to reserve a large room in the DBMWIR ward, with a lakeside view, King size bed and deluxe bathroom en suite.

I shall be bringing my kitties with me, and they will require their own room within my quarters with never-ending charms on the food and water bowls, and a self-cleaning charm on the litterbox.

Since last time the lot wound up being mysteriously being charged to Lucius Malfoy, I believe it is Fudge's turn to foot the bill...

I want my avatars back. My brother's supposed to be handling my subscription but he never gets round to anything.

Sabotage - Dec 31, 2004 9:02 pm (#2579 of 2965)

I don't want to actually mentally damage the siblings Ticker, cause then they may have to be checked in here.

Oh, and I can't exactly say what the mechanical bull is for, top secret you know.

I pick something up it is approximately 21.8593 seconds before they come rushing into the room saying that they were about to come use it, and they want it, so I'd better give it to them now!

Isn't that so annoying? I especially hate it when I pick up something my sister hasn't even looked at in years and she screams that she wants to play with it. Even if it's a headless Barbie.

Ticker - Dec 31, 2004 10:37 pm (#2580 of 2965)

Nope Emily, I'm afraid not. You'll have to settle for perfectly splendid.

Prof. Sprout, I have no younger siblings, but I would willingly donate the Four Cousins of the Apocalypse. Their names are Hanna, Hailey, Holly, and Harrison, I have no idea how old they are but not a one of them is over four feet tall.

I got a POA DVD for Christmas too. I watched the interviews and I have this to say: tell me that one of you wasn't the "towel girl".

P.S.-Hmmm, If a mechanical bull makes Sabby feel at home, then perhaps she's from my neck of the woods.

Potions Mistress - Jan 4, 2005 2:26 am (#2591 of 2965)

Happy (belated) New Year everyone! Hope your holidays were nice. Since learning the HBP is coming out in July, I most definitely got everything I wanted.

I believe I have offered my two younger cousins for the job of annoying siblings. My brother has a job at an elementary school, so if worse comes to worst, I'm sure we can borrow some from the school. :-)

Marie E., butterbeer sounds quite delicious. Mind if you join you for one?

Marè- Jan 4, 2005 2:35 pm (#2592 of 2965)

I don't think I have any younger siblings to offer to St Mungo's. My younger brother is already 21 so, that’s not so young anymore... (Although he can still be annoying )

But it looks like we have enough siblings, don't we? I mean, look at them; they are... freaky... and noisy and *starts to slowly back away from the kiddo's*

Anyway; belated happy new year! Round of butterbeer on me!

prof sprout - Jan 4, 2005 10:51 pm (#2593 of 2965)

I think I may have to check in sooner than I anticipated. Surprised)

Ticker - Jan 5, 2005 12:25 am (#2594 of 2965)

Marè- Jan 5, 2005 12:37 pm (#2598 of 2965)

Yes well, mock my attempt at virtual generosity will you!

*Ducks away behind a large orange couch before the butterbeer hits her*

Potions Mistress, what are you doing in the I'm-Not-Taking-On-Any-More-Dangerous-Tasks-After-The-KBR-Incident Ward? You didn't take on KBR in the attic while looking for the disco ball. Don't think you're not welcome, though.

Potions Mistress - Jan 6, 2005 9:53 pm (#2608 of 2965)

Hence the "sneaking in." Personally the KBR scares the bejeebers out of me and I've never met him!! But thank you for the warm welcome Liz! (Does this mean I have to face the KBR in order to stay? I can take it...I think...maybe...oh please, oh please, oh please, don't make me face the KBR!!! WAAAHHH!!)

Emily - Jan 6, 2005 10:36 pm (#2609 of 2965)

I'll help with Sabby. It's a distraction from *homework* (oh, the evil!... sorry, all you teachers ) at least.

Grabs a SuperSoaker and starts squirting. Except mine has hot tea instead of butter beer. Woops...

Potions Mistress - Jan 6, 2005 10:54 pm (#2610 of 2965)

De-possess Sabby, face the KBR. De-possess Sabby, face the KBR. Hmm...Well...I guess I'll see if I can do anything for Sabby (because I'm fresh outta carrots). *Looks for a squirt gun, bucket, etc. in which to put butterbeer into. Also, looks for some butterbeer.* Hey, Emily? Does the tea work? I have some iced tea here. Or how about root beer?

*Creeps Charlie's Angels style down dark hallway, squirt gun raised... hears strange wheezing around corner...kicks open suspicious door while pulling trigger...*

No, no mops on the "possible threads for inmates" list. None either on the "Assorted Fangs and other things that get you in St. Mungo's" list. (Hey something is not right here...) There is one on the "AAAAAH... RUN!" list though. Does your mop have green stripes?

*Toddles of to find new paint*

Blue with a pattern of snitches, yellow with a pattern of jelly, or red with a pattern of Christmas trees? (The last one's on sale!)

Liz Mann - Jan 7, 2005 3:17 pm (#2614 of 2965)

Pyro, at least that doesn't seem as bad as a class I had on super bacteria. Freaked me out for ages that did.

OMG, Sabby's left the attic door open in her search for KBR! It could slip out!!

Marie E. - Jan 10, 2005 5:44 am (#2624 of 2965)

Maybe we can distract the KBR with these carrots. They have had a little something extra added to them, if you get my meaning, so we can sneak him back into the attic.

Marè- Jan 10, 2005 9:28 am (#2625 of 2965)

Well do you suggest we feed them to KBR with a very long pole or create some kind of KBR catching boobytrap?

I think there is some fishing gear left in one of the wards... From our calamari days...

*Walks to get fishing gear*

Okay who-ever put these buckets on the door... not a good idea! GRRRrrr

A-is-for-Amy - Jan 10, 2005 2:05 pm (#2626 of 2965)

Sorry about the buckets Marè, but you'll be happy to know that you won't need the fishing equipment!! One of the buckets landed on KBR and trapped him underneath! It was actually quite close, since he was lunging for your ankles! I'll just use my kazoo to conjure a nice big rock to put on top of the bucket to keep him in there... I'll let someone else figure out what to do with him now that he's caught. Do you think he needs air holes?

Marè- Jan 10, 2005 2:47 pm (#2627 of 2965)

KBR... quite close... lunging for your ankles....

If anybody is looking for me, I will be located in the chandeliers for a while. No particular reason... I just like the view from up here...

And air holes? Be glad if he doesn't chew his way through the bucket!

Liz Mann - Jan 11, 2005 4:34 pm (#2628 of 2965)

I totally sympathize with Pyro's depressing classes, only for me it's my geology teacher talking about how at any second the Yellowstone Caldera could blow and destroy all vestiges of human society in a matter of hours.

Umm, there's a bucket with a rock on it following me around, should I be worried?

Liz Mann - Jan 11, 2005 9:29 pm (#2630 of 2965)

Yes, you should because KBR is under that bucket. Quick, somebody immobilize it with their wand!

Elfcat - thanks for reminding me of the Yellowstone Caldera, that's one of the things that freaks me out. That and super bacteria. I learnt about that in a general studies class at college, and the teacher seemed to be deliberately trying to freak us out. I heard him saying to one of the other teachers before the class, "Let's see how many of them can take this." He wiped his finger on one of the seats and said, "I've just picked it up!" Talk about being subtle.

Well, that is a bit of a relief. I don't think Karina lets him date yet anyway... not that that stops him... (eyes Amy's latest creature suspiciously...)

Gina R Snape - Jan 17, 2005 7:42 am (#2648 of 2965)

A REAL PERSON?! Oh nooooo. Sabby, don't tell me you're. . . (gasp). . . thinking of checking out of St. Mungo's?

Liz Mann - Jan 17, 2005 4:05 pm (#2649 of 2965)

Don't worry, Gina. I believe it has been said on here before that you can check out if you like, but you can never leave!

Sabotage - Jan 17, 2005 11:01 pm (#2651 of 2965)

Oh, NO! I would never want to leave. My crush is coming to live in my ward, so we can be together forever.

Gina R Snape - Jan 18, 2005 2:15 am (#2652 of 2965)

How nice! Will your crush be able to post? Will the rest of us be able to see your crush?

Marè- Jan 18, 2005 12:49 pm (#2654 of 2965)

*blinks again*

Gina! What is that for behaviour! Honestly are you supposed to be an example of... an inmate of ... with straightjackets and...
Oh, never mind...

And Sabby, do take care: Real life people are really not allowed in here! After all, this is St Mungo's, the only place with a ban on calamari-rings, too much lime jello and salmon-taste toothpaste...

You can only check in here if you are seriously disturbed and mugglishly crazy about Harry Potter or strangely fond of lime jello...

Speaking of... Where is Caitlin, wasn't she back a while ago?

Liz Mann - Jan 18, 2005 3:27 pm (#2655 of 2965)

She was, but she's disappeared again.

Gina R Snape - Jan 18, 2005 4:58 pm (#2656 of 2965)

Elfcat - Jan 18, 2005 6:20 pm (#2657 of 2965)

Gina, have you been into those left over Snape drinks again?

Sabotage - Jan 18, 2005 10:22 pm (#2658 of 2965)

Oh crud. He isn't fond of Harry Potter (at least I don't think so). Do we have visiting hours here though? I move that we changed the visiting hour from what ever they are to: weekdays - 12 am to 12 pm, weekends - 12 am to 12 pm. I think that's a good way to get around our problem, because he isn't a patient he's a visitor. Does anyone oppose?

Emily - Jan 18, 2005 10:27 pm (#2659 of 2965)
Edited by Jan 18, 2005 2:28 pm

I agree. Although the only people I would want to visit me are already here.

Gina... ummm? Something up? *hiccup* Oh no! whatever you've done, it's contagious!

Sabotage - Jan 19, 2005 12:03 am (#2660 of 2965)

(I did that right, right? 12 am to 12 pm... that's all day right?)

Gina R Snape - Jan 19, 2005 1:21 am (#2661 of 2965)

*hiccup* *hic* *hic*

Need. . . water. . .

Pinky - Jan 19, 2005 1:54 am (#2662 of 2965)
Edited by Jan 18, 2005 5:55 pm

Sabby, I'm afraid that there are no visiting hours at all. You are either an inmate, or staff. Other folks simply are unable to find their way into here. That truth may send your crush out forever - thereby curing you of all your problems with possession.

Gina, I'm sure at least one door is still rigged with a bucket of water - just go around and push doors open randomly while looking up with your mouth open.

Ticker - Jan 19, 2005 4:00 am (#2663 of 2965)

Well Sabby, 12:00am also known as 0:00am, is midnight and 12:00pm is still noon, but since there are no visiting hours... I'd recommend being extra nice to the staff & aiming for a supervised pass.

*Stands in awe at the invitation issued from Gina... for about 10 seconds, then blasts her with emergency fire hose*

Gina! Are you OK? I've always secretly wanted to do that. I didn't know the results would be so spectacular... speak to me if you still can!!!

Marè- Jan 19, 2005 9:34 am (#2664 of 2965)

*Looks at amazing amount of water...*

What?!!? We are having a pool party again?!!?

A-is-for-Amy - Jan 19, 2005 3:24 pm (#2665 of 2965)

In case that didn't work... *hands Gina a glass of something.*

Elfcat - Jan 19, 2005 6:18 pm (#2666 of 2965)
Edited by Jan 19, 2005 10:19 am

I don't think the buckets on the doors would have helped all that much for hiccups, they were full of butterbeer...

I have noticed that our school contains a remarkable number of HP and other movie related last names for its size. Potter, Riddle, Norris, Vader...I'm sure there are more that I just can't think of at the moment.

Gina R Snape - Jan 20, 2005 5:12 am (#2667 of 2965)

*teeters around for a bit*

Oh, dear. When my lunch arrived I *hiccup* drank some sort of *hiccup* purple liquid. I thought it was *hiccup* grape juice. But now I *hiccup* can't stop *hiccup* hiccupping, and I'm reeeaaallly reeaaallly thirsty. *hiccup* And no, it wasn't jello! What's going on?!

prof sprout - Jan 20, 2005 6:21 pm (#2668 of 2965)

Dear me, residents, check this article out

I wonder if our dear headmaster knows anything about this. I bet someone is targeting giant squids until they find the right one. I better go report this. But watch out. Guess what the cook is planning for dinner?

Elfcat - Jan 20, 2005 6:24 pm (#2669 of 2965)

Gina, you cursed me! I was reading about your hiccups here yesterday, then I got them while I was at Karate! I couldn't breathe!

Would you believe my friend’s boyfriend accused me of being NORMAL today?

Liz Mann - Jan 20, 2005 9:13 pm (#2670 of 2965)

Sigh, Muggles.

Pinky - Jan 21, 2005 1:37 am (#2671 of 2965)

Gina look! Isn't he___

Where did he go to?

Liz Mann - Jan 21, 2005 5:31 pm (#2673 of 2965)

Oh no, please don't tell me we have a Blast-Ended skrewt on the loose AS WELL AS Killer Bunny Rabbit? *sigh* There's never a dull moment around here, is there?

Elfcat - Jan 21, 2005 5:39 pm (#2674 of 2965)

Of course not, where would the fun be in that? Wow! It's a record! I've gotten here four days in a row!

Skrewts, now, is it? *passes fire extinguishers out to the other inmates* We may need these...

A-is-for-Amy - Jan 21, 2005 6:56 pm (#2675 of 2965)

Don't forget the marshmallows!! Just be sure to use a REALLY long stick!

Gina R Snape - Jan 21, 2005 7:15 pm (#2676 of 2965)

Oh, so *hiccup* sorry *hiccup* about that, *hiccup* Elfcat.

You know, I *hiccup* am beginning to *hiccup* think someone slipped me *hiccup* a Purple Partial Pucker Potion. And *hiccup* it's making my throat pucker. *hiccup*

Do you think a Death *hiccup* Eater has *hiccup* entered the wards?

...About that...erm...Oh look a butterfly!!! **Chases**

Ticker - Jan 23, 2005 3:36 pm (#2680 of 2965)

Thanks for the update Prof. Sprout. I hadn't planned on eating any calamari anyway *tenderly re-polishes DIGS pin...*. I guess I'll just have a little snack before dinner Let's see here... I've got graham crackers, cheerios, & a banana... Aria must have eaten all the caramel corn balls, peanuts & M-n-M's.

Gina R Snape - Jan 23, 2005 9:50 pm (#2681 of 2965)

Stay away from the grape juice, Ticker.

Ticker - Jan 26, 2005 3:36 pm (#2682 of 2965)

Guess I'll just skip dinner altogether in lieu of the problems and eat candy & drink soda instead.

Are we celebrating Mardi Gras again? Last year's float is looking a bit deflated & run-over.

Elfcat - Jan 26, 2005 5:17 pm (#2683 of 2965)

When is Mardi Gras, anyway? My calendar doesn't show it.

Emily - Jan 26, 2005 10:13 pm (#2684 of 2965)

According to the official Mardi Gras site, Mardi Gras is on February 8. Party, anyone?

Liz Mann - Jan 27, 2005 3:51 pm (#2685 of 2965)

Ooh! We haven't had a proper party here in aaaages! I vote yes.

A-is-for-Amy - Jan 27, 2005 4:09 pm (#2686 of 2965)

Hey! My b-day is Feb 7! Can I have a Mardi Gras cake?

Marè- Jan 27, 2005 4:58 pm (#2687 of 2965)

Can I have a Mardi Gras cake?

Do you want it with chocolate sprinkles, red cherries, jello filling, whipped cream or in your face?

Emily - Jan 27, 2005 9:33 pm (#2688 of 2965)

Yay! I'll bring the decorations... only thing I'm not sure of is the disco ball. I can't remember if it got left behind or not in the last move. Oh, well. We'll figure something out.

A-is-for-Amy - Jan 27, 2005 11:04 pm (#2689 of 2965)

I'll take chocolate, and in my face, please! The Disco ball (the last I saw it) was the diamond-encrusted one we bought with the proceeds of the garage sale - it was hanging over the pool. If you can't find it there, I think Lucius has the old one in his room. Something about having a thousand or so tiny mirrors on it appeals to him.

Liz Mann - Jan 28, 2005 1:49 am (#2690 of 2965)
Edited by Jan 27, 2005 5:49 pm

Emily - we still have the disco ball. I went up in the attic a while ago to get it, facing KBR on the way. And then when I got down one of the members said they'd found another, even better one.

Marè- Jan 28, 2005 11:09 am (#2691 of 2965)
Edited by Jan 28, 2005 3:09 am

I don't need a diamond one. I think the one you found is good enough Liz. See! let's hang it at an honorary spot!

Elfcat - Jan 28, 2005 3:28 pm (#2692 of 2965)

Oooo, Preeeettttyyyyy...

I don't suppose anyone here has a remedy for a nasty throat? I've been quarantined from friends & family for the day because of one.

A-is-for-Amy - Jan 28, 2005 6:25 pm (#2693 of 2965)

You need antiboitics, honey! Me and my two kids just went through strep throat, and it's nasty and contagious! If you can't get to a doctor, I would recommend gargling with salt water, or better yet, listerine. It might sting like the blue blazes, but that stuff kills everything.

Hope you feel better soon!

I need to go work on my story and.....oooh! Shiney!

Liz Mann - Jan 28, 2005 10:33 pm (#2694 of 2965)

Ooooooh, thank's Marè!

Emily - Jan 29, 2005 12:59 am (#2695 of 2965)

Good job, Marè! Now I don't have to face KBR. Thanks!

Elfcat has a nasty throat, Amy has strep, I've got a (so far) 5-day cold (my longest ever). It's just a week to be sick! *think about hbp, think about hbp...* Much better!

Who's bringing the food? By that I mean mountains of chocolate.

Marie E. - Jan 29, 2005 3:22 am (#2696 of 2965)

Mmmmm...mountains of chocolate....

Acceber - Jan 29, 2005 10:25 pm (#2697 of 2965)

Can it also be a party to celebrate my birthday (next Monday)? I'm having a regular party with my Muggle friends, but I want one with you lot.

What kind of chocolate are we having? Chocolate Frogs are a given, but we should also consider a Muggle favorite, Hershey's. Their milk chocolate bars are addicting.

PyroGrl - Jan 29, 2005 11:44 pm (#2698 of 2965)

Aero with Caramel. Ohhhhhh...the bubbles aren't melting, though...

Emily - Jan 30, 2005 9:52 pm (#2699 of 2965)

Sounds like fum, Acceber.

Liz Mann - Feb 1, 2005 1:43 pm (#2702 of 2965)

OMG, that reminds me of an episode I saw of a British sitcom called The Vicar of Dibley. The main character (played by Dawn French, incidentally) has a passion for chocolate, and to celebrate I think it was ten years as vicar, the people in the village got her a chocolate fountain. She stuck her head right in it!

kabloink! - Feb 2, 2005 5:11 am (#2703 of 2965)

Hmmm, it may be too late now, but I've found that a good black tea with honey, lemon, and (if you're of old enough) Firewhisky cuts the length of throat-based colds in half. It helps with other colds, too, just not as effectively.

Now what's this about a party? I skipped a bit, as I don't think I've emerged from the Post-Exam Recovery ward since just after Christmas. My forum anniversary is Saturday, can we celebrate that, too?

prof sprout - Feb 2, 2005 2:09 pm (#2704 of 2965)

I know this is an American holiday, but I think we can incorporate it into St. Mungos. We can just change it around a bit. Now let’s all go to the attic and see if KBR saw his shadow. Any volunteers to go first? I don't remember what happens if KBR sees his shadow or not, can any residents refresh my memory? I don't think the winter connection works in St. Mungos, but you never know, we could have a blizzard in a ward.

Of course - - they are the only kind I buy. Unless I had special request for a different kind.

I always thought it was slightly weird how Shaggy ate them too. They're dog treats!

These ones sound quite nice, though. But I've already faced KBR once and I won't do it again! So there!

Ticker - Feb 5, 2005 5:48 am (#2710 of 2965)

OK. I'm in. Let me just get my stuff together, say some goodbyes & practice up on my "Zoinks!".

Ticker - Feb 5, 2005 7:39 am (#2711 of 2965)

Whew! I did it. I just need to develop this picture & we'll see whether KBR saw his shadow. Please someone tell me it was worth it.

I used some recording equipment from WWNterviews so if you want to read the transcript you can "hear" it over there. It's a bit long for the average attention span here at St. Mungo's... not that any of you are average... it's just, er, well... read it if you want. I'm going to go take a nap.

Ticker - Feb 5, 2005 6:47 pm (#2712 of 2965)

Happy Forum Birthday, Kabloink! In your honor, Kim, I have set the overhead music to play all the Weird Sister's hits from 2003. I don't think the tamper-proof spell on the intercom will give out for at least 24 hours. Just think! You can relive all those beautiful memories to "Can't Stop Turning You Into A Frog" and "Will You Still Kiss Me When You're Dead?" and "Wild As A Hippogrif On The Loose"...

Viola Intonada - Feb 5, 2005 8:37 pm (#2713 of 2965)

What??? Where am I???? What happened??? *Looks around dazedly* Hey, alright, I'm back at St. Mungo's. *Falls down on hands and knees and starts kissing the ground* It's so good to be back. What did I miss? Does Pyro have a body now or can I apply for her position as seeker?

What happens if KBR sees his shadow you ask? I always thought that if KBR saw his shadow then he was too scared to bite your head off, but if he didn't see his shadow, you'd better run! Ticker, do you have any bite marks anywhere?

PyroGrl - Feb 5, 2005 11:20 pm (#2714 of 2965)

I think I have a body. **checks** Yup, I'm here. **Stares suspiciously at Viola, suspects sabotage, and slinks away**

Liz Mann - Feb 6, 2005 12:02 am (#2715 of 2965)

Viola! You're back! *gives Viola a flying hug* Hi Ya

Did you bring your viola with you, Viola?

Ticker - Feb 6, 2005 3:10 am (#2716 of 2965)

Yea! Welcome back, Viola! No bite marks, however I do have some frothy spittle on the one shoe I have left.

Oooooh, we can have live music again at the Birthday-Mardi-Gras-New-Year Party!

prof sprout - Feb 6, 2005 4:21 pm (#2717 of 2965)

Here is your Scooby snack, so what did the picture show, did KBR see his shadow?

On a side note my brother is down in the Big Easy right now getting ready for Mardi Gras.

Ticker - Feb 7, 2005 4:30 am (#2718 of 2965)

Well... let's see... he's hopping madly, his cute little bunny mouth is open in a tremendous snarl, and his shadow is perfectly behind him the whole time... so, er... no. He didn't see it on the picture. I'm not an expert in Rabbitese, but I don't think he answered my question about it either. But more importantly... what does it mean?!?!?!?

So is your brother saving us a camp-site or anything?

prof sprout - Feb 7, 2005 2:10 pm (#2719 of 2965)

I think he setting up muggle charms to protect us against nosey muggles prying eyes.

A-is-for-Amy - Feb 7, 2005 4:55 pm (#2720 of 2965)

It's my birthday, and I thought I'd celebrate Hobbit-style, so, GIFTS FOR EVERYONE! I've got several little pets that would love a new home, some experimental chocolate frogs (I claim NO responsibility for what may happen if you eat them). Bracelets made out of the stringy stuff I pulled out of my mattress, and several different varieties of charmed shoelaces that Fred and George sent. Help yourselves!

Elfcat - Feb 7, 2005 5:18 pm (#2721 of 2965)

I can hear the Hallelujah Chorus now! The day I told you I was sick I missed school, and that put me so far behind in Web Design, (the class I talk to you from) I shudder to think about it. But I caught up now, so all is well.

Chocolate frogs with weird side effects? Weirder than Jello? (Or perhaps they have jello in them...?)

Ticker - Feb 8, 2005 1:17 am (#2722 of 2965)

Amy, you're not a hundredyelevn are you? I got your present at the Stock Show recently in town. It's a sheep shearer. I hope you like it. (Walks over to the cake table tap-dancing in new shoe laces.) Thanks!

Elfcat, I'm glad you're feeling better. Congratulations on catching up! (Watches her carefully to see what she does with the Chocolate Frog.)

A-is-for-Amy - Feb 8, 2005 3:40 am (#2723 of 2965)

No, I am a baby by Wizarding standards, only 34! Thanks for the sheep shearers! I think I'll go find Lucius mwahahahaha!

Elfcat - Feb 8, 2005 7:50 pm (#2724 of 2965)

Hmmm... seeing as I am currently (in the real world) at a college campus on a field trip and rather near the cafeteria, I think I could cause quite interesting havoc with this little chocolate frog right now...

Ooooooh, you's naughty Elfcat! Let me know what happens.

Yoooou-whoooo Acceberrrrrr..... Hmmmm. well, I guess I'll just leave your birthday present in your room. I hope it doesn't eat anything it shouldn't.

Pinky - Feb 9, 2005 3:37 am (#2726 of 2965)

Amy, I'll definitely take a bracelet. Does it come in slimy green?

Dropping the chocolate frog into the drink machine may not have been as good an idea as it seemed...I got every single student with it. That includes most of the high school students on the field trip, so...got any good hiding places? *ducks under a table*

P.S.- I just realized I never said HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!!!!

Tsk, tsk Elfcat! Don't worry, I'll put up signs up outside to get rid of those pesky ketchup covered students... How about "Free Starbucks!" with an arrow pointing into the lake?

Ticker - Feb 10, 2005 3:24 am (#2731 of 2965)

Amy you understand the mind of a college student well. Though I'm not sure the caffeine & katsup is a good combo. What with Katsup's natural mellowing agents & coffee's natural eye-opening agents it could make swimming strange. On second thought, I'd like to see this.

Happy Chinese New Year all!

Here everyone - I want to give you all gifts for Valentine’s day. They are little sweethearts that say, "Crazy for You", also these compact mirrors who will show you a picture of your love. (if you know who he/she is, yet)

PSA (Public Service Announcement)

I also want to warn any HP Character, you might want to stay away from the "I'm in Love with an HP Character" ward, for your own safety, it may sound flattering to have hundreds of residents fight over you on this romantic holiday, but things can get crazy around here. (no pun intended)

A-is-for-Amy - Feb 14, 2005 6:32 pm (#2738 of 2965)

Thanks for the mirror! It was delicious! My husband wasn't terribly chuffed to find that it reflected Charlie Weasley before I swallowed the evidence, though.

Happy Valentine's day everyone!!

Ticker - Feb 16, 2005 6:25 pm (#2739 of 2965)

Oh cool! My mirror shows my hubby playing quidditch. He's never going to believe this. Thanks Prof. Sprout!

Acceber, I think that's an omelette maker. I'm not sure why it's 6 feet tall or what half the buttons are for, but... someone with your culinary expertise should have no trouble, (I hope). Just be careful pressing that red button... it's always the red button... why is that?

PyroGrl - Feb 17, 2005 12:21 am (#2740 of 2965)

I made this card for two of my friends:

Elfcat - Feb 17, 2005 5:06 pm (#2741 of 2965)

*stares into mirror and drools* I'm not telling who I see, but you'd be drooling too! (probably)

Oh man, guys, I've just been reading a fanfic that's got me thinking about some scary stuff - how different would the overall plot of the books have been if some of the details had been different? For example, what if the Dursleys, in an attempt to get rid of the magic in him, instead of keeping him as downtrodden as possible, had taken the more logical approach of trying to instill in him as many of the qualities that they think makes a good person?

HARRY WOULD HAVE TURNED OUT LIKE DUDLEY! Now there's a scary thought. He would have been just as big, just as spoilt, just as horrible. He wouldn't have accepted the Hogwarts letter, probably would have attended Smeltings with Dudley, spent his evenings smoking on street corners, vandalising public property and terrorising local kids, and then when Voldemort tried to return he would have taken Harry's blood, killed him (Harry having had no magical training) and the wizarding world would have been doomed!!

Please someone banish these scary thoughts from my head!

There, There Liz

These thoughts could never happen. (Pulls out wand – Obliviate!) That should help banish those horrible thoughts from your head. We don't want to scare the little ones.

Edited by Feb 17, 2005 3:36 pm

Little ones? We have little ones here? How little?

Edit: Oh, wait, do you mean like Tinker's little girl? Oh, okay. Went completely over the top of my head for a moment there. Sorry, it's getting late where I am and I'm starting to get tired. Plus I'm feeling a bit disorientated. It's almost like I've had a memory charm put on me. Hm... Oh well. Merry Christmas!

prof sprout - Feb 24, 2005 2:24 pm (#2745 of 2965)

Hello, Is anyone here? *hears an echo from the emptiness*

Where did everyone go?

Starts singing from the Wizard of Oz. "Come out come out where ever you are, meet the witch that fell from a star" (Is that how the song goes?)

Elfcat - Feb 24, 2005 4:59 pm (#2746 of 2965)

I have been here but with no comment. Today I have a comment and that is: PANIC PANIC PANIC!!!!!!!! My first ever Karate tournament is in two days and I'm gonna walk out there and die! (or at least have a nervous breakdown.)

Here is a Fearless Potion, Elfcat.

*hands Elfcat good old H20*

It should make you swift, and limber. Good luck

Liz Mann - Feb 24, 2005 10:00 pm (#2748 of 2965)

Don't worry, Elfcat. You have a wand, your opponent doesn't.

Ticker - Feb 25, 2005 5:01 am (#2749 of 2965)

Wow, Elfcat! So that's why they've been locking you in Amy's room at night. I thought the staff was trying to get information out of you,... like where the jello is hidden. (And I'm not trying to suggest that you had anything to do with that, but... nice job, eh.) But anyhow, I'm sure you'll do great, especially after all the physical, mental & emotional fortitude you've shown here.

*... here ... here ... here ...here . . . echoes down the hall*

Creepers - it is way too quiet around here. OK, OK - I'll go take a shower. Prof. Sprout - maybe you should just tuck your wand away for a bit. It's still smoking from that last charm. And Liz, honey, let's put the Christmas decorations away again. *Pats Liz’s hand...* Geez, you'd think we were all crazy or something...

A-is-for-Amy - Feb 25, 2005 2:00 pm (#2750 of 2965)

Sorry! I'm back! I was out getting George drunk so he would tell me the secret about a mutant Puffskein. I've got the tale, now, and have to go decipher my very sloppy notes through the Butterbeer stains and inkblots. I'll be in my room (you'll have to interrogate Elfcat elsewhere today!)

Oh! And Elfcat? You'll do fine! Just remember, "Wax on! Wax off!"

Ticker - Feb 28, 2005 3:40 am (#2752 of 2965)

*Creeps into Elfcat's darkened bedroom & starts jumping on her bed..* How'd it go? How'd it go? How'd it go? How'd it go?

Ooops - sorry about your ankle. It's just I figured it would be safer jumping down here where the blankets are than risking a Karate chop from your arms... er, maybe I'll get off the bed now... but...

How'd it go?!?

Viola Intonada - Mar 1, 2005 2:52 am (#2753 of 2965)

Sorry I've been gone for so long (again). The darn door keeps sticking on me and I haven't been able to get it open. Thank goodness I had that stash of chocolate frogs hidden in there. I ran out of them yesterday. Good thing I was able to get the door to my room open today or I would have had to start eating my butterflies. (gasp, the horror) *makes a mental note to restock provisions before reentering room.*

I think I will pass on the experimental chocolate frogs today, do you have anything else to eat? I'm hungry enough, I would even eat Jello!

Hope your tournament went well Elfcat!

Emily - Mar 1, 2005 10:22 pm (#2755 of 2965)

JELLO!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Surely you can't be that hungry, Viola? Someone get her some normal food, poor thing! Glad to see you out of your room, anyway. I was getting worried that the Healers were experimenting on you or something....

Elfcat - Mar 2, 2005 5:50 pm (#2756 of 2965)

Congrats Elfcat, but what are nun-chucks? Surely it can't be a new brand of jello?

Blackcurrent jello? Hmmm, is there a chocolate-banana one? I might be tempted to eat that!

Edit to Pinky: Same question about calamari..

Pinky - Mar 4, 2005 2:13 am (#2761 of 2965)

Elfcat, that's awesome! Have a canary cream to celebrate! We'll definitely put you in charge of security detail for when we need to keep the staff away or attack the kitchen on calamari nights or some other such stuff.

When I say "beat two big guys with nun-chucks", I mean that they had nun-chucks (two foot-long staffs connected by a chain) and I had a bo staff (five-foot long bamboo pole). I did not actually beat them up, I just won the division.

I have a song for Ticker:

I come from Minnesota,

I'm not the king of Araby.

All is cold and flat,

how bad would the Sahara be?

Reaaach for Ketchup,

instead of hydrotherapy! Ketchup, ketchup!

Ticker - Mar 10, 2005 8:52 pm (#2766 of 2965)
Edited by Mar 10, 2005 12:52 pm

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,

That's a lovely song, Elfcat. I just about laughed my head off... that is, until I reached for my bottle of ketchup. Yes, ketchup has those natural mellowing agents so you don't go to emotional extremes even if everything around you is. I'm not even particularly bothered about finding myself in Minnesota, although, I think I parked my car in South Dakota. It'll all work out in the end, I'm sure. Meanwhile all this talk about the Sahara is making me hot. Anyone else want a nice bowl of ice-cream & ketchup?

Minnesota and South Dakota.... makes me want to go on a road trip.

How long has it been since we have been on a road trip? Do we still have our rubber duck? Is he in good repair? Where should we go? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Oops, sorry, it's not time for those last two questions, yet.

Hey, do you think they might let us go to Disney World? It's where the magic is.

Emily - Mar 11, 2005 5:27 pm (#2768 of 2965)

OOOH! Disney World! I wanna go! Can we take the jello sub- oh wait, that got eaten or something, didn't it? Alright, how's the ducky you mentioned, Viola. Or we could just take our bedpans.

Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please can we go?

prof sprout - Mar 11, 2005 5:46 pm (#2769 of 2965)

Everyone needs to get their permission slips signed by the head of their ward to make sure they have clearance to go. Those who do not have clearance must go to the back room and stay and watch "How to Earn Privileges Back" I will make mention though that that room has a really big window that can be picked easily with a wand. Also, the inmates who have to stay behind, you will be allowed to bring you musical instruments to the room for practice after the video. You can serenade a couple of the workers who will be cleaning bed pans.

*With a huge wink, hands out the proper forms to get signed*

Acceber - Mar 12, 2005 3:09 am (#2770 of 2965)
Edited by Mar 11, 2005 7:11 pm

I can go! I got it signed! My ward head person said it was OK! I'm not totally mentally stable, but I'm not completely insane either. Yay!

Where exactly are we going? How about...Bangladesh? Or Cameroon? Or Malaysia? Or Congo? (We have to learn the countries in Africa for school, I can help navigate if we go there.)

I forged the signature. Don't tell!

Ticker - Mar 12, 2005 5:09 pm (#2771 of 2965)
Edited by Mar 12, 2005 9:10 am

The head of my ward has mastered joined-up writing & signed his name over the entire form. In fact, it was a little hard to get it back from him unframed...

I'm so excited! I'm personally hoping we end up in Florida. I've done some spring cleaning & found my mouse ears. I've felt a little silly just wearing them around the ward while everyone else looks so stylish in their moo-moos & straight-jackets.

Liz Mann - Mar 12, 2005 5:48 pm (#2772 of 2965)

Acceber - I believe we're going to Disney!

I have my permission slip!

Pinky - Mar 12, 2005 8:51 pm (#2773 of 2965)
Edited by Mar 13, 2005 12:47 pm

What do you mean, you look silly in mouse ears? I wear them all the time! I'm looking for someone to sign my form. There was a dark shadow in a corner that was muttering about having lost his credit card who offered to sign it for me. I wasn't so sure about him... so I still need a signature. I may have to end up watching that movie... wonder if the soundtrack to it is any good?

Emily - Mar 13, 2005 5:59 pm (#2774 of 2965)

I got my form signed! Wasn't quite sure who the head of my ward is, so I scouted around until I found someone. They were kinda short, greenish, had an abswolutely huge nose, and was only wearing a tea towel. Actually, they seemed unwilling to sign it for me until I shouted at them that they just had to. Then they did it. I hope that's alright? Can I bring my *flute* (wink) with me to Disney. I'm going to have lots of fun!

Liz Mann - Mar 13, 2005 11:11 pm (#2775 of 2965)
Edited by Mar 13, 2005 3:13 pm

Just a thought - where did Abby go to? It seems like a lot of our residents disappear. I have a sneaky suspicion that the outside world is driving them all sane.

prof sprout - Mar 14, 2005 1:19 am (#2776 of 2965)

I doubt the outside world is driving them sane, I just think the outside world is holding them hostage. Surprised)

Elfcat - Mar 14, 2005 5:49 pm (#2777 of 2965)

Forms? *snatches one and forces the nearest student to forge a signature on it* That should do it....

Yeah! Disney World! I wanna ride the tower of terror! And Space Mountain and thunder mountain railroad and splash mountain and I think I need some ketchup before I start bouncing off the walls!

dobbyiscool - Mar 15, 2005 12:11 am (#2778 of 2965)

I think I gained my sanity and got out of the habit of checking up on St. Mungo's regularly, but my sanity did finally leave again, so I am back. I do not have the time to read through 700+ posts, but I would like a permission form so I can go to, Disney is it? Fun, I'll have to remember my autograph book.

Ticker - Mar 15, 2005 2:49 am (#2779 of 2965)
Edited by Mar 14, 2005 6:50 pm

Great to see you, dobby! *Signs her autograph book while she is not looking...*

Oh Pinky, of course you look good in mouse ears. It's just a look I haven't had in about 20 years. But now that I think about it, everything else I see in the mall reflects the styles of 30 years ago, so... the mouse ears must not be too far off the fashion trend.

Elfcat, here's your bowl of ice-cream & ketchup. I saved it for you. It's a little runny, but once you finish, that won't matter. . . .er, much.

Liz Mann - Mar 15, 2005 2:40 pm (#2780 of 2965)

Ice-cream and ketchup?! Eeeeeeeew!

When are we going to Disney then?

Dobby returns! I thought I hadn't seen you for a while. Welcome back!

prof sprout - Mar 17, 2005 12:39 am (#2782 of 2965)

Everyone have their forms signed? Ready then we are taking a new and improved rubber ducky to get to Disney World in Florida. I can't mention all of the new features because they are classified.

All aboard

Emily - Mar 17, 2005 9:52 pm (#2783 of 2965)

*Wanders around trying to figure out the new "classified" features. Taps on walls randomly, suddenly lemonade spurts out of the place just tapped.*

I think I found one!

dobbyiscool - Mar 17, 2005 10:47 pm (#2784 of 2965)

*glances nervously at the floor** Are we safe to walk around? I'm not going to accidently step on something- **steps on a lime colored tile and a serving of jello appears floating in front of her** Yikes! Watch your step!

Liz Mann - Mar 17, 2005 11:18 pm (#2785 of 2965)

Oooooh! New and improved giant flying rubber duck! Spiffy! *climbs on board*

By the way, Happy St Paddy's day everybody!

prof sprout - Mar 18, 2005 4:08 pm (#2786 of 2965)

They wouldn't let me take you guys to Walt Disney, if there wasn't some jello aboard, but it shouldn't squirt up by standing on a tile. That makes me wonder if there are extra classified features that they didn't tell me about.

Did you like the Lemonade Emily? Try to find the compartment with Butterbeer. Oops I shouldn't have said that *wink*

Liz Mann - Mar 18, 2005 10:10 pm (#2787 of 2965)
Edited by Mar 18, 2005 2:10 pm

*goes into the bathroom, lifts the toilet seat and finds a bowl of jello floating inside* Hmmm... there seems to be more jello hidden on board than there should be. *takes out wand* Accio jello! *jello comes flying from all directions* ARRRRRRGH!

Emily - Mar 18, 2005 11:51 pm (#2788 of 2965)

Don't summon the jello, vanish it! Unless F&G made it, that is. Then you might be best to just leave it. Who knows what it would do? *shudder*

And yes, the lemonade was excellent, thank you for asking. Although it had a faintly familiar lime-like flavor and I'm starting to feel sleepy. *collapses on floor*

Ticker - Mar 19, 2005 8:40 pm (#2789 of 2965)
Edited by Mar 19, 2005 12:43 pm

Thank you Liz for your, erm, cleaning. I think I'll just sit on the other side of the duck for a while... *steps over Emily & panel under foot lights up..*

Whoa! This is too cool! Where are all the cute little bubbles coming from? This duck is seriously cool. But where, oh where, I wonder, is the steering wheel? *scurries off to find hidden control room making very stealthy squeaking noises on rubber floor...*

Pinky - Mar 20, 2005 4:18 am (#2790 of 2965)
Edited by Mar 19, 2005 8:20 pm

*Rereads slightly crumpled and stained note in Prof Sprout's handwriting*: "Everyone needs to get their permission slips signed by the head of their ward to make sure they have... (tea stain).... Those who... (KBR teeth marks) ...must go to the back room and stay and watch "How to Earn Privileges Back" I will make mention though that that room has a really big window that can... (jello smear) ...easily with a wand. Also, the inmates who have to...(inky thumbprint).., you will be allowed to bring... (gum wad) ...to the room for practice after the video. You can... (more KBR nibbles) ...a couple of the workers who will be cleaning bed pans."

*wanders into back room and watches "How to Earn Privileges Back" --- stares at wand shaped item hanging by a cord next to the really big window --- feeds canary creams to the workers who were cleaning bed pans --- grabs bed pan and goes for a joy ride through the halls*

Hey, where did everybody go?

Liz Mann - Mar 20, 2005 1:19 pm (#2791 of 2965)
Edited by Mar 20, 2005 5:20 am

*sends message by Owl to Pinky*

We're all on our way to Disney Florida on the new and improved Flying Rubber Duck! Take this Portkey and meet us there!

*attached to the letter is a DIGS button*

Elfcat - Mar 21, 2005 7:04 pm (#2792 of 2965)

Say it with me everybody: Spring Break Rocks! Party on the rubber duck! *Starts a disco in the room with the light-up floor tiles*

Pinky - Mar 21, 2005 8:05 pm (#2793 of 2965)

*sees owl tapping at window with message* Well hello, little owl, how are you today? *scratches owl's head, inadvertently causing an attached DIGS button to touch the owl's feathers - owl disappears* Wait! Come back, owl! I didn't even get to read my letter!

Liz Mann - Mar 21, 2005 9:20 pm (#2794 of 2965)

Elfcat: Spring Break Rocks!

Elfcat - Mar 23, 2005 5:54 pm (#2796 of 2965)

Viola Intonada - Mar 24, 2005 2:01 am (#2797 of 2965)

*bangs on door from inside a secret compartment on the rubber duck*

Help!! I just woke up from a nap and I seem to be in a very small compartment. Help!! I can't get out!

*starts banging on door again*

Liz Mann - Mar 24, 2005 4:04 pm (#2798 of 2965)

Viola! Hi! *lets Viola out* Do you have your viola with you, we haven't heard your music in aaaaaages!

Acceber - Mar 25, 2005 3:49 pm (#2799 of 2965)

Music, music, music! I feel like partying, even though I don't have spring break. I do have today off from school. Do we have the disco ball?

Ticker - Mar 26, 2005 3:20 pm (#2800 of 2965)

Whoa Elfcat! That's uh, impressive. *edges away before she does a backspin*

Well, I'll be! You just never know what you'll find on the duck. Prof. Sprout did you pack Viola in there?

*Starts opening cupboards...* Your viola must be here somewhere... maybe this one that is making a strange humming sound... *slowly turns latch & is knocked across the room by door exploding open...*

Oooof! What was that & why is this pink fuzzy thing licking my toes?

One of the features of ducky, it has a hidden room for an Easter Egg hunt. Look around for the eggs. If there are any green jello eggs, know that I did not put them there, and be cautious.

Oh my, residents,

I just realized how close we are getting to April. I received a memo from my superiors stating anyone playing April fools’ jokes on Muggles with ANY magical item will be transferred back to St. Mungos, for unknown punishments. I did hear something about Filch though through the grapevine.

So please be on your best behavior in the Magical Kingdom.

Emily - Mar 28, 2005 5:41 pm (#2808 of 2965)

Can we play pranks on the staff? Not you, of course, though! (*yeah, right!*)

Just remember, I'm a volunteer, I don't get paid to be here.

All the more reason to prank you. Oh, did I just say that out loud?

Pink thing licking your toes? AHHHHH! Run! IT'S LJ JUNIOR! *hides in a closet*

Strange things happen to me when I get bored. Recently I've started making up poems. Here's a sample:

I am in the computer lab,

The carpet here is dull and drab.

This computer is very slow,

And soon postal I shall go.

I have nothing else to do,

So I am writing a poem to you.

Rather than English I would, instead,

Beat a desk against my head.

But lo and behold! It is not so,

Or I would not be doing this, no!

When I have a lot of time,

I do indeed begin to rhyme.

Viola Intonada - Mar 30, 2005 1:30 am (#2813 of 2965)

Abby!!!!!! Did you get put away with the rubber duck? Is that why you are here after such a lllooonnngggg absense?

Has anyone found my viola? It must be here somewhere..... *starts opening cabinets randomly* Oooo, look, I found a green jello egg. *throws it in the garbage can* I'd better wash my hands just in case the green jello residue has any side effects.

Pinky - Mar 30, 2005 1:53 am (#2814 of 2965)

Abby!!! I can't believe you're back! *tears up* Well folks, I think I'm on the duck - there was some mix-up with the portkey, and I don't think my permission slip ever got signed, but I tucked an overlarge canary cream in my bed, so the staff should think that I'm still safe in St. Mungo's while I party with you here. *scoops up a big pile of Abbyfetti and jumps on it* Wheeeeee!!!!!!

Hi!! I'm not sure what happened in that long absence. I think perhaps I got sucked into another dimension where things are backward. Like Jell-o is used simply as a dessert, and it doesn't have weird side effects. Brooms don't fly--they just sit there. My bagpipe sounds horrible when I play it! And Abbyfetti is just a bunch of periods, commas, and semicolons. It's horrible! I'm not sure how I managed this comeback, but I have! So you can all relax now.

Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?

The first ride I want to go on is the Haunted Mansion, then the Pirates of the Caribbean. Wahoo! I'm so excited!!!!

Will we each get a set of Mickey ears?

Elfcat - Mar 31, 2005 12:43 am (#2817 of 2965)

Speaking of green jello eggs, the parallels between this place and the so-called "real world" are...spooky sometimes. My best friend's boyfriend looks EXACTLY like HP, and one of the first things he said to me today was a story about egging people's houses with red and green jello eggs.

I wanna ride the tower of terror!

The Great Abbycadabra - Mar 31, 2005 7:34 am (#2818 of 2965)

Oooh, I loove Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion--good movies, too. I need to ride Thunder Mountain. It's the best.

prof sprout - Mar 31, 2005 1:53 pm (#2819 of 2965)

You guys, we have been there for 2 days now. I have already gotten a tan, and been on every ride twice. Go play. And behave for April Fools’ Day tomorrow! I don't have any control what happens to you if you misbehave.

Liz Mann - Mar 31, 2005 9:18 pm (#2821 of 2965)

You guys, we have been there for 2 days now.

We are? Oh, okay! *runs to queue for Pirates of the Caribbean, hoping to see Johnny Depp*

I know how that feels Abby. Sometimes I find myself in a world where my broom doesn't work, rubber ducks are just something to play with in the bath, bunny rabbits are gentle and I would never go on most of the rides in Disney if you paid me a million galleons (which are called pounds in this world ). )

prof sprout - Apr 1, 2005 2:12 pm (#2822 of 2965)

This is what I feared, everyone escaped to the Lexicon Forum to cause havoc. I hope those poor members over there are not too overwhelmed by the residents running loose.

Abby! *Walks like an Egyptian in your honor all the way across the park - it's slightly less obvious than playing that same song on the bagpipes, but I hope you feel noticed anyway.*

Wlfgrl - it's great to see you too!

Loved the poem Elfcat!

Sorry I can't stand in line with you all for the Pirates of the Caribbean. Aria has discovered the joys of Easter "can-nee" and hasn't come off her sugar high yet. I know we're supposed to blend in when we're in a muggle area, but what am I supposed to do when she toddles her way to the roof of the haunted house? Can't turn my back on her for a second. (Turns around to look at Aria & instead finds herself holding a pink fuzzy hand...) Oooooh that little squirt! Are you sure I can't just accio her every now & then?

Liz Mann - Apr 1, 2005 5:41 pm (#2824 of 2965)

No, but Impedimentia might work just so you can catch up with her.

Jouyex Poisson D'Avril! *Sticks live trout to people's backs, salmon for the Disney characters*

In France, April fools’ day is called Poisson D'Avril, (that's "fish of April" in english) and the only prank is sticking paper fish to people's backs.

The Great Abbycadabra - Apr 2, 2005 8:04 am (#2826 of 2965)

Hey, Ticker! I'm honoured by your lovely dance. I do think I'll accompany you. *plays "Walk Like an Egyptian" on bagpipe* Side note: my mom says I loved that song when I was really little. Big surprise, eh?

Viola Intonada - Apr 4, 2005 3:00 am (#2828 of 2965)

We liked calamari and lime jello???? Oh Liz, please don't say such things. It's too scandalous.

Wow, these lines for the Pirates of the Caribbean are really long. We have already been here for three days and haven't moved a foot. *Looks around and notices we are actually standing next to a cardboard cutout of some of the characters. Steps over a few feet into the real line* Oops

I sure hope everyone likes what I've done with the place while they've been at Disneyworld! I think the faux-fur wall paper is an especially nice touch. I must remember to thank Fred and George for the suggestion.

I wonder when everyone is coming back? Do I have enough time to start on the individual residents' rooms?

Elfcat - Apr 4, 2005 7:44 pm (#2830 of 2965)

Something occurred to me recently, Amy. Your user name wouldn't have anything to do with that Edward Gorey poem, would it? "A is for Amy, who fell down the stairs..."

C is for Clara who wasted away

D is for Desmond thrown out of a sleigh

E is for Earnestwho choked on a peach....

Need I go on? Actually, if you'll believe it, I didn't find out about the Gashleycrumb Tinies until about a week after I picked that screen name, but I love Gorey, so it fits.

Elfcat - Apr 5, 2005 4:36 pm (#2832 of 2965)

Rather grisly sense of humor, that. Unfortunately I was about eight years old when I first read that (complete with illustrations) and the "done in with an axe" one was a bit much, particularly two minutes before dinner. I don't mind it so much anymore.

*ponders less violent re-wordings that fit St. Mungo's*

No Quidditch matches!!!!!!! *Gasp* C'mon guys, let's just check in so Prof. Sprout knows we're not lost anymore! I'm waiting in the endless line to get on It's a Small World. It's a great ride, really does a lot to keep me insane!

Oh, dear. I got lost in a hedge maze on the grounds. Is it too late to go to Disney World? I love the Pirates of the Caribbean ride!!

Reading the early posts is quite entertaining. I remember somebody flushing calamari down the toilet in an attempt to get Dumbledore back to the lake.

I think you need to check all of chairs for the thumbtacks Very Happy

wolfgrl - Apr 13, 2005 3:05 pm (#2842 of 2965)

For some reason Mickey seems afraid of me. Weird.

Ticker - Apr 13, 2005 3:54 pm (#2843 of 2965)

Amy, you just have to lick the back. Be sure & lick the whole thing.

OK, let's see... I've ridden all the rides, chased Aria over or through most of them, eaten all the churros anyone could possibly want, stayed up all night on lemon freezes, re-arranged all the gates to lead to the next area randomly (wild west adventurers find themselves in the deep ocean area ...), I've charmed all of the flowers to sing It's a small world... Gosh, I'm almost out of things to do. Maybe I'll go look for an alligator to bring home.

A-is-for-Amy - Apr 14, 2005 3:27 pm (#2844 of 2965)

Thanks Ticker, but the peanut butter I found seems to be doing the trick!

Wish I could have gone to Disney World, but, alas, after the last time, they sort of asked me not to come back. Ever.

As most of my friends have learned the hard way, it is not a good idea to startle me. I am a trained fighter. Trained fighters have certain...reflexes. The swelling should go down on that in a couple of days, John. Just keep ice on it. (gotta love snoopy, by the way)

Viola Intonada - Apr 16, 2005 2:52 am (#2849 of 2965)

Welcome John!

Prof. Sprout, I'm over here. I love Disney, but it doesn't beat quidditch! I have to ride the "Haunted Mansion" just a few dozen more times. Each time I go on it, I bewitch something new and see how long it takes to freak the cast members out. hehehe I invited a few ghosts from St. Mungo's to join in on the ride too. hehehehe

Ooooh. I love the haunted mansion!

Viola Intonada - Apr 18, 2005 1:52 am (#2852 of 2965)

I've bought my Mickey ears (with Viola stitched on the back). I've eaten all the treats I can and after riding the Haunted Mansion a few hundred times. I'm beginning to get a little homesick for good ole St. Mungo's. Is it time to go home yet? Not only that, but I think they might throw me out of the park soon. You see, I brought my bedpan along and decided I wanted to give Tinker Bell a little company during her show for the fireworks. I guess she's not used to seeing people flying around on bedpans. She screamed, seemed quite distressed and messed up the rest of her flight. Oh, whew, I don't think they will be looking for me after all. They gave her a nice white jacket like ours. Maybe she will come join us.

Welcome John B^D!

Ooooh, I sure hope Tink joins us. I could really use some pixie dust. By the way, Viola, I really like the improvements on the Haunted Mansion.

OK. Who trapped our poor Professor Sprout in the Hall of Mirrors? More importantly, who is going to get her out?

*Is distracted by an almost ordinary piece of junk in the flowers. . .*

Hey look! I found a portkey! A chipped teacup with the Hogwarts logo. Must be an extra-credit Transfiguration project. Hmmmmmm......... Anyone wanna grab it with me? The students could take our places on the duck, I'm sure.

Hey... if we have Tinkerbell maybe we can fly without our bedpans! Sure it would take away some of the originality, but what a thrill!

*Sends a magic ball of thread into the Hall of Mirrors to guide Prof. Sprout out*

Emily - Apr 18, 2005 11:15 pm (#2856 of 2965)

I'll take the portkey! When do we leave, Ticker?

And good idea, Liz. I sure wouldn't go in there just to get a volunteer out-- I mean, I would sincerely love to go help Prof. Sprout, but as Liz seems to have it covered, I'll just step back. *hem hem*

Viola Intonada - Apr 19, 2005 1:37 am (#2857 of 2965)

Ticker, I'm glad you liked my improvements to the Haunted Mansion.

Boy, I don't know if I would like flying without my bedpan. I'm kind of scared of heights when I don't have something to hold on to.... But I will disguise our duck to look like their truck so that they will put Tinkerbell into it and she can go home with us.

I hope your ball of string doesn't run out before it reaches Prof. Sprout, Liz. I don't want to have to go in there and get her.

prof sprout - Apr 19, 2005 1:02 pm (#2858 of 2965)

Oh look, there is a little piece of yarn. I think I should follow it. Why, is it moving? How can I catch the little bugger. Ah got it. Here I go.

Whew, I found my way out of darn mirror maze. Whose ready to go home?

Thank you for sending the ball of yarn.

Viola Intonada - Apr 19, 2005 3:22 pm (#2859 of 2965)

I can usually spend forever at Disney, but I think the authorities are starting to suspect something. We'd better get out of here soon. Especially before they find my next addition to the Haunted Mansion. hehehe

OK Emily. On the count of 3 we'll grab the teacup together.

Threeeeeeeeeeeeee..... (WHUMP.... falls over Emily but not before knocking her shin against a desk...)

Oooof! It's dark in here but I'd recognize the Transfiguration Classroom anytime. We're going to have a bit of a challenge getting out of here un-noticed. I wonder what time it is. I plum forgot about the time difference. Emily?

Emily?..... Oh dear. I seem to have landed a bit hard on you. So sorry.

PYRO!!!!! We're in Disneyland. Or is it Disneyworld? I think it's Disneyland. It's really fun, but we're all getting bored of doing the same rides over and over and over and over, so we're trying various ways to get home. It's not working that well.

*sends mini rubber duck/Portkey to Disneyland/world to pyro at St. Mungo's* Come join the confusion!

Hey! Congratulations Pyro!

I've just finished putting up the velcro wallpaper in my room. The trampoline was a bit hard to maneuver in, but now, if you're wearing the right kind of clothes, you can use the trampoline to jump against the wall, and hang out with me - literally!

I've got the rest of the place done just in time. I hope Ticker likes lickable wall paper a lá Willy Wonka, and I really hope that Liz likes polka dots that really play the polka, cause those sticking charms appear to be permanent!

Elfcat - Apr 21, 2005 4:06 pm (#2870 of 2965)

Hi Pyro! *waves frantically* Join me in the POTC ride? You know you wanna...

Hmmm... time difference from Florida to Scotland? Well, it's eight hours from Idaho to Paris, so I'd say...about 5 or 6 hours.

Yum! The house elves are so "above average" here at Hogwarts! Although, I must say that I'm eager to get back to St. Mungo's to try my lickable wall-paper.

Emily, let's see if we can borrow a couple old school brooms & get back to St. Mungo's unless....... . . . .. . .. . .do you think we could catch the Ford Anglia?

I hope Ticker likes lickable wall paper ala Willy Wonka, and I really hope that Liz likes polka dots that really play the polka, cause those sticking charms appear to be permanent!

I don't mind because I have to move temporarily to another ward. You see, I have a problem. A serious problem. I'm... I'm...

I'M GOING SANE!!!!!!! Zany

I have to move to the 'Re-instating HP Insanity' ward.

I don't think I spend enough time on the forums anymore. So many threads with so many posts! That and I've become really really lazy. Also, the traffic at St Mungo's is so much slower now and we don't do as many interesting and crazy things (don't mean to question your insanity, guys ). Disney World (while fun fun fun!) is too... normal. Although I admit listening to “It's A Small World” enough times will send anyone round the twist.

I miss the good old days. *stares dreamily into space* Remember when Pyro burned down the Quiddich pitch at the old site? And when Pinky turned into a semi-permanent canary from eating a defective canary cream? And when we all became Animagi? And when we played bed-pan Quiddich with at least one of our players as a dragon? And when we all moved into the new site and chose our rooms (I've been reading the early posts). Sigh! We were so mad back then.

I dunno. Maybe I've been spending too much time in the Muggle world (and with homework to do). But it's nearly the end of term for me at Univeristy, so maybe after that I'll get a premium membership and try to catch up. And we'll get to have the fun of moving to a new place again fairly soon! There's only 127 posts left on this thread (in fact, probably less because deleted posts count towards the total number).

Emily - Apr 21, 2005 9:00 pm (#2873 of 2965)

Ooh, the Ford Anglia is my choice for travel when I don't have my bedpan! You have the keys?

Viola Intonada - Apr 22, 2005 12:30 am (#2874 of 2965)

Liz *very large gasp* what do you mean you are going sane? If I would have known that I would have made you ride "it's a small world" with me over a hundred times. Besides, shouldn't we all be moving into the "I can't wait a moment longer until July 16th" ward?

Edited by Apr 22, 2005 9:28 am

I am sorry to say that I am not nearly as impatient for it as for OotP. I still want it, don't get me wrong! It's just that I'm not bouncing up and down in excitement. I don't get excited about anything anymore to tell you the truth.

But I'm having Harry Potter day tomorrow to try and refuel my obsession! I'm going to dress up in my HP T-Shirt, cloak and scarf, watch all the films back to back, read OotP, listen to the audio tape of PS, write my fanfiction and work on my site. Hey, the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, right?

Viola - we're still in Disney, right? There's still time to ride about twenty more times.

Ticker - Apr 24, 2005 6:51 pm (#2876 of 2965)

Liz, I wouldn't worry too much about going sane. I saw your chart when I was um, re-sorting the medical records and well, let's just say you'll be lucky to get a Day Pass. So go and do whatever you want (as if it will help you actually go sane... ha, ha, ha). You're guaranteed a room here. And we will all personally make sure you get moved into the D-B-M-I-R (don't bother me I'm reading) Ward. Of course, exactly what state any of us will be in by July, I'm not sure...

Emily, I thought you had the keys... Well, can you see thestrals? I mean, since we've made it out of the castle without getting hung by our thumbs or any other mishaps, it would be a shame to be eaten by spiders, trampled by centaurs or gored by any number of other plants or creatures out here. Besides tonight is the full moon. Yikes! What was that?!?!

Viola Intonada - Apr 25, 2005 1:57 am (#2877 of 2965)

*Grabs Liz and runs for the "it's a small world" ride, then bribes ride operator to not stop it for an hour*

Elfcat - Apr 25, 2005 4:08 pm (#2878 of 2965)

*gasp* Liz! How dare you try to go sane! This calls for drastic action! Accio flying bedpans! C'mon girl, we're going to...I dunno...Mars! *puts extra-large and sturdy bubble head charm around the bedpans*

Liz Mann - Apr 25, 2005 5:56 pm (#2879 of 2965)
Edited by Apr 25, 2005 10:57 am

Woo hoo! I always wanted to go to Mars!

Try go so sane? Try? How dare you insinuate that I'd actually try to go sane! But I'll still take you up on that trip to Mars as soon as I get off this ride. There should be about another... *looks at watch*... fifteen minutes left until the guard stops it.

Going. . .sane? Sane? I've heard that word before. Don't recall what it means, though. I know what you mean about HBP, Liz. I find that I'm not quite as excited as I was for OOP myself. I've been doing what you're planning on doing. I've been reading all the books again. It's helpful, I must say.

*goes on It's A Small World to ensure that insanity remains intact*

Liz Mann - Apr 26, 2005 1:54 pm (#2881 of 2965)

Phew! I'm so glad I'm not the only one! But I'm beginning to get a little more enthusiastic about the other forum since I posted a couple of theories there. I just hope it lasts.

Liz Mann - Apr 26, 2005 4:06 pm (#2882 of 2965)

I'm a paid member! My avatars are back! Woohoo

Emily - Apr 26, 2005 4:34 pm (#2883 of 2965)

You don't have the keys, Ticker? Oh no! And I can't see the thestrals... Well, we could just try to lure them here , because of course I always carry around bloody, disgusting, smelly raw meat around with me. Never know when it will come in handy. *pulls meat out* Unless you think the Ford Anglia will respond to my *flute*....

Ticker - Apr 26, 2005 5:46 pm (#2884 of 2965)

*Responds to Emily's bloody, disgusting, smelly raw meat behind a nearby bush...*

You know any oldies? I'll join you on my, er, *penny-whistle*. I wonder what year the Anglia was made. *Tries to remember any Shoop-Shoop-Dee-Doop songs the Ford might like....*

By the way Liz, I'm going seriously (as opposed to humorously???) HP, by reading OotP & the Read-A-Long on the Main Forum. I'm still trying to catch up to where they're reading but I have found many more things to think about. It's great to see your avatar, BTW. *Pops over to the Main Forum to find Liz's theories....*

Liz Mann - Apr 26, 2005 5:48 pm (#2885 of 2965)

Oh my gosh, I just noticed that your name is Ticker. I always thought for some reason that it was Tinker.

Emily - Apr 26, 2005 11:37 pm (#2886 of 2965)

LOL, Liz.

Ticker, nope, no oldies. But I learn fast. Just play a few bars. (Well, alright. The *flute* does all the work. I just stand there and hold it.)

Elfcat - Apr 27, 2005 12:02 am (#2887 of 2965)

*begins singing oldies that Ticker and Emily have now gotten permanently stuck in my head* Who put the boom in the boom-shoo-boom-shoo-boom, who put the ram in the ram-a-lam-a-ding-dong? Who put the dip in the dip-di-dip-di-dip, who put the shoo in the boggedie-boogedie-shoo? Who was that man? I'd like to shake his hand! He made my baby fall in love with me!

Well now, is there anyone else who like to come on the Martian sojourn? Grab a flying bedpan and find a way to keep oxygen on it, then report to the top of the Tower of Terror.

Ticker - Apr 27, 2005 4:18 pm (#2888 of 2965)

It's OK Liz, you can call me Tinker if you want. I might not know you're talking to me otherwise.

Thanks Elfcat! That's perfect! Got it Emily, er Emily's flute?

Whoa, the thestrals don't like it. They quit sniffing your robe & galloped away. .. .. .... ... . ... . ..

Or maybe it was because of that crashing sound getting nearer! *Jumps into a stickery bush & gets stuck mid-air..*

Emily - Apr 27, 2005 8:48 pm (#2889 of 2965)

Yup, the flute's ready. You? And are you sure this will even work? I hope acromantulas or something aren't attracted to oldies. Oh well. Thanks Elfcat. Hmm. I seem to be rambling today. Can't hold a thought. That's OK, it's one of the reasons I'm here. See ya!

Viola Intonada - Apr 28, 2005 2:17 am (#2890 of 2965)

OOoooo, Mars, sounds like fun. May I tag along? Hey, do you think the Martians have a quidditch team?

Liz and Abby, remember we still have two and a half months to go. If you got too excited now, you would explode (or go postal) before July 16. We all have to pace ourselves in our excitement. So don't feel too bad that you’re not too excited yet. At least that is how I am trying to rationalize my not so excited yet state. I haven't reserved my copy yet either. I'm waiting for our school's book fair.

Liz Mann - Apr 28, 2005 9:20 pm (#2891 of 2965)

That's very rational and sensible, Viola. You sure you're not going sane, too?

Elfcat - Apr 29, 2005 12:40 am (#2892 of 2965)

You know, they may just have a team at that. And of course you can come, Viola! Just promise you won't make me read Juliet's lines in class anymore (particularly not opposite a certain Romeo *shudders*)

Viola Intonada - Apr 30, 2005 1:35 am (#2893 of 2965)

Mawahahah, of course now I will assign all of Juliet's lines to you with a certain someone playing Romeo.

Well, maybe I would prefer to go to Mars.

Don't worry Liz, there will never be a danger of me being too sane. Trust me.

Hey, when's Quidditch season? The seeker's gettin outta shape o'er 'ere. I've suddenly started "To Kill A Mockingbird" talk. Southern. Ba haha. My Merlin, I'm tired! And, thankfully, fitting in at St. Mungo's.

Liz Mann - Apr 30, 2005 9:43 am (#2895 of 2965)
Edited by Apr 30, 2005 3:04 am

Well, there's only about 105 messages allowed left on this thread, not counting deleted posts, so is it really worth it to start the Quiddich season now? I say we start it first thing after the move.

No sense in letting our Seeker get out of shape, though. Come on, Pyro, we'll fly back from Disneyland on our bedpans!

Added Edit by Kip: Liz made a good estimate; however actually there are only 70 maximum posts still available on this thread. The difference is due to what Liz had stated, deleted posts.

*Fireplace erupts in a volanic eruption of emerald green flames. A very soot covered figure scoots out of the flue and spins slowly to a stop*

Argggh! Am I dizzy! *Grabs head that keeps spinning around despite the fact that her body has come to a complete stop.* Whoa! Hey! I'm home! I'm home! *Stands and brushes robes clean of soot* Wow! Has this place changed! Hey! Lookit, new people! I was roommates with Ticker and Pinky, I hope they haven't rented my bed out to someone else. If so I guess I'll just sleep in the broom closet...

Right, Liz, right?

Good to see you again, Istari!!

Istari Jones - May 1, 2005 5:23 am (#2900 of 2965)

Thanks, Marie! I missed you all. Been trying to catch up on the posts but it's slow going. Had some potholes in the road of life that kept me away in the sane Muggle world. Hopefully insanity will return and I'll be back for good.

PyroGrl - May 1, 2005 5:38 am (#2901 of 2965)

But the move was so DIFFICULT last time...I say we pack the disco ball before our own personal property. Oh, I saw the ghost of LJ walking around the old St Mungo's...which, by the wall, is unkempt and is turning to rubble. I like the look, though. Makes it seem enchanting.

The Great Abbycadabra - May 1, 2005 6:56 am (#2902 of 2965)

Viola, such sound advice. I just remember practically jumping up and down in excitement every day before OOP came out. It seems to me, though that we didn't reserve our copy of OOP until about a week or two before it was released. I was quite excited today, as I watched POA. Plus, the GOF clips they're going to show next Saturday on ABC look rather enticing.

Anywho, I guess I need to get packing. Sheesh, it seems like we just moved here yesterday.

Hey, Istari! *fills bagpipe with Abbyfetti, of course* ',;.,';.,';.',;.',.;',;.,'.;,'.;,'.;,'.;,

Uhhh, you mean....charter members, right? not....old.

Of course that's what I meant. So you can stop glaring at me now Marie.

*jumps around trying to catch all the golden snitches flying about my room so as to be able to pack them for the move*

Emily - May 1, 2005 9:28 pm (#2904 of 2965)

Hi, Istari!

Ooh... abbyfetti. You are important, aren't you?

Well, I'm just back from a fun weekend camping with Muggles. The most annoying people, so I don't have to worry about going sane like I do in Muggle school. Bye for now!

Istari Jones - May 1, 2005 11:25 pm (#2905 of 2965)

Gosh, we're leaving already and I just got back! Thanks, Abby! Pretty sparkles! I love the abbyfetti! *gives everyone within reach a great big bear hug* Well, if we only have a few posts left we'd better make each one count. Well, now. I still have this huge red bag from which I handed out birthday presents. It held an awful lot, soooo, if we put things back in this bag they should shrink back up and fit within the bag very nicely. Do we need moving buddies again? I hope the move takes place before some serious birthday parties begin (*cough*Kip'sbirthdayisMay10th*cough*)

*Un-sticks self from a bush in time to see a big, blue beater of a car come to a rumbling stop in front of Emily & her flute...*

Oh, right. I knew it was the car. I just wanted to see that bush more closely. Yeah.

So... it looks like we can ride as long as we keep playing tunes it likes. *Climbs in with Aria & Emily...* You know the way to London, right Emily? I'm pretty sure south is that direction... . .. . . um, I mean this direction... . .. . . . . er, maybe you should drive...

Istari!!!! Your bed is a bit overgrown, but then, mine is as well. We do have new wallpaper though. I hope to be back in the sweet confines of home soon - at least in time to move... Welcome back anyway!!!!

Wolfgrl, maybe you should sniff out that big red bag of Istari's. There's probably some wolfsbane potion in it, everything else seems to turn up in there. Maybe you should check in there for LJ, the disco ball, and the Pocket Alan Rickman while you're at it...

Liz Mann - May 2, 2005 6:26 pm (#2910 of 2965)

Pocket Alan Rickman? There wouldn't be a pocket Dan Radcliffe too, would there?

Emily - May 2, 2005 9:34 pm (#2911 of 2965)

Abbyfetti! For me! Yay!

Ticker, sure I'll drive. I don't exactly have a license just yet, nor have I ever done it before; but that didn't stop Harry and Ron did it?

Wolfgrl- when exactly is the next full moon? If you can't find your potion then I think that is the best time for me to make another escape attempt.

Elfcat - May 2, 2005 10:43 pm (#2912 of 2965)

Yikes! Moving already? *zooms back to St. M's at super-sonic speeds*

Hmmm... I need to pack up my stuff to take with me, but the only ward I really lived on most of the time was the "Muggle Interference" one, and it's a bit scary in there. *takes out wand* Cover me, I'm going in! *rushes into ward* (crashing sounds are heard) *and returns with a cheerleading uniform, a complete set of HP books (thus far published), and the mountain of homework I should be doing instead of hanging out here*

Viola Intonada - May 3, 2005 12:23 am (#2913 of 2965)

Ooo, I guess I will delay my visit to Mars until after the move. In the meantime, let's have a "Packing to move/ Reunion" party. Wahoo! Welcome back everyone. Talk about popping out of the woodwork, wow.

I guess I have to start packing up all of my butterflies. I hope they like their new room. I call dibs on a room with a view!!!!

Whew. Nice job.

Emily - May 3, 2005 9:17 pm (#2916 of 2965)

Thanks, Ticker.

Ooh, a Packing/Reuninon Party sounds great! Can I bring the cupcakes? I promise, no hidden canary creams. (Only because the twins have sent me a box of something better...) Oops, did I say that out loud?! Well, I am sure there will still be those brave and crazy enough among you to try them anyway. This is St. Mungo's. Gina- will you be bringing free Snape drinks?

PyroGrl - May 3, 2005 11:24 pm (#2917 of 2965)

*Zooms around Liz's room on bedpan and catches Snitch's** I hate packing! I'm leaving it until the last minute, yes I am. Unless someone wants to do it for me...

Ponine - May 4, 2005 1:39 am (#2918 of 2965)

*knock knock* Can I come in?? I think there is supposed to be a room (wing) reserved for me here....

Viola Intonada - May 4, 2005 2:05 am (#2919 of 2965)

Ponine, welcome, welcome. You're just in time to help us pack. Our thread is approaching its maximum post capacity, so we are preparing to move to a new thread. This means all of us have to pack up our rooms and get ready to move to a new St. Mungo's. It is a perfect time to join us, because you will have a chance at a prime room at the new St. Mungo's.

I have been talking to the Martian quidditch team. They are willing to play us in a practice game as soon as we are settled into our new St. Mungo's.

Elfcat - May 4, 2005 2:32 am (#2920 of 2965)

Hi Ponine! Welcome to St. M's, where everybody's crazy and whatever you do, don't eat the Jello! Can you play bedpan quidditch? If not, there's a lovely cheerleading squad you can join.

Dear Mrs. Ticker & Emily,

You have been observed in an illegally-operated muggle vehicle. Operating such a vehicle in the vicinity of non-magical persons is a serious offense under section 13 of the International Confederation of Warlocks' Statute of Secrecy.

Further such actions on your part will require Ministry Officials to place you under strict observation & may lead to further legal action.

Have a nice day.

42 more posts to go! (Er - 41, if you count this one.) I've made a canary cream calendar, for anyone who wants to try.... What? Emily's already brought some? Well Emily, just toss one over, and I'll give it a try. Ticker, will Aria need a room of her own now that she's bigger? I've loved having you and Istari (welcome back!) as roommates - should we stick together in the next St. Mungo's, or should we wait and see if we even end up in the same wards? Welcome Ponine! I must say, balancing bedpans is a neat trick. You should fit in here quite well!

Emily - May 4, 2005 10:23 pm (#2928 of 2965)

Hey Ponine! I think you'll fit right in here! That's a pretty good cheer (or I would consider it one, since I can't do anything like it...)

Pinky... here ya go! *tosses it over* *Actually can't remember what she's tossing over, but Pinky seems to want it, so there you go.*

Ticker. I dunno. Do you think strict observation means our own ward? If it lasts until after the release of HBP, then that's good with me. As to our immediate problem, how about jumping? *jumps, falls, screams, lands 5 feet down, stuck on the gutter* OK, any other ideas? We have to get there in time to pack and then to claim good rooms at the new St. M's. I want one by the lake, I like watching DD- er, the giant squid. Gosh, I remember moving here. Anyway, I'd like to get down now, since my nerve has left me in disgust and I'm trying very hard to not look down.

Viola Intonada - May 5, 2005 1:56 am (#2929 of 2965)

Ponine, excellent cheer. You will be wonderful on our cheerleading squad!

Liz, I just knew you weren't going sane on us. Glad to hear your obsession levels are back up.

You know, I've been practicing catching my butterflies. If anything was ever to happen to Pyro, I would be more than happy to step in as seeker. But of course I wouldn't want anything to happen to Pyro. Matter-of-fact, I would love to be Pyro's moving buddy just to make sure nothing happens to her during the move. *looks around shiftily with large evil grin on face*

Hey, shouldn't Emily and Ticker be back by now? I wonder where they could be? *looks out window* Oh my, Ponine, quick give me two of those bedpans, take two for yourself and follow me! Emily is hanging by the strings of her straight jacket from the building next door. We have to go save her! Oh, but can we make it in time??!!???

Istari Jones - May 5, 2005 2:07 am (#2930 of 2965)

Can we make what in time? Oh, Emily! Quick! Let's change her! ....No, I don't mean her diaper! You know, into a bouncing ferret or something, so if she falls she'll bounce *Ticker swoons and collapses to the floor*. Oh, sorry, Ticker! Ok, maybe not. Anyone else have any ideas?

Pinky - May 5, 2005 3:23 am (#2931 of 2965)

Well, Emily just tossed me a bag of something she bought from some twins... whoever they are. Let's try throwing them at her. Maybe if she eats one it'll help her in some way.

wolfgrl - May 5, 2005 12:59 pm (#2932 of 2965)

Gina, can you somehow get some Snape drink to her that will change her into a bird or something?

Ponine - May 6, 2005 11:32 am (#2933 of 2965)

I can prop her up with my bedpans!! Just get the toilet roll out of the way, and I am ready!!

wolfgrl - May 6, 2005 9:10 pm (#2934 of 2965)
Edited by May 6, 2005 2:11 pm

Speaking of Bedpans, don't we have some flying ones around here somewhere. We can use one of those to get her down.

By the way I found my potion, It got stuck in my bag with my stick that sparks when I fetch it. I almost forgot about that one.

Question will there actually be a "Don't bother me I am reading Half-Blood Prince" ward, or does all of St. Mungo's change into that ward for a week? If there is one, how do I get into that ward? I don't think the mediwizards will let me out of the werewolf ward without a permission slip.

If at all possible, I would like to request a room with a few trees, a small pond, a den full of hay, and a large steel re-inforced four poster bed with matching steal dresser (less likely to get damaged). Is that too much to ask for? Oh and can the ceiling be enchanted to look like the sky whenever there is NOT a full moon out, and just be really, really cloudy when there is a full moon?

Liz Mann - May 6, 2005 11:07 pm (#2935 of 2965)

There's a general "don't disturb me I'm reading" ward. That would probably cover HBP.

PyroGrl - May 6, 2005 11:18 pm (#2936 of 2965)

I am suddenly suspicious of all potential sub-Seekers. I think I need a bodyguard who does NOT want to be Seeker. **looks around suspiciously**

Acceber - May 6, 2005 11:50 pm (#2937 of 2965)

*stretches hand into the air as high as possible* I don't want to be Seeker!!! Speaking of Quidditch, I searched this thread for a list of players, and the only ones I could find listed members who haven't been here for a while. Should we hold tryouts again?

*packs up room* Not much here, but I am looking forward to revamping it when we get a new thread. Yahoooo!!!!!!!!

PyroGrl - May 7, 2005 3:39 am (#2938 of 2965)

Very well, you can be my bodyguard. But I'm still wary of all...

According to my records, the team last time we played was:

Chasers - Me (as well as Captain), Ticker and Sabby (where the heck is Sabby??)

Beaters - Dobby and Emily (haven't seen Dobby around for a while either)

Keeper - Blast (also mysteriously missing) with Acceber as the backup

Seeker - Pyro

Referee - Viola

Commentator - Marie E

Mascot - Hem Hem (also missing)

Cheerleaders - Hermionefan (gone too), Fawkes (also gone), Emily (who seems to be both a Beater and a cheerleader ) and Elfcat

And Fawkes agreed to backup any player who was missing.

Huh... it wasn't until I looked at this list that I realised just how many St Mungo's residents are missing. I hope KBR didn't get them!! Let's hope they turn up before or in the move, or we'll have to host tryouts again.

PyroGrl - May 7, 2005 3:53 pm (#2940 of 2965)

But only for the missing, right? I mean, the Seeker is still here...

Liz Mann - May 7, 2005 4:02 pm (#2941 of 2965)

Yeah, only for the missing.

Well, I was disappointed I didn't make the team last time, so if there are any positions open I would like to try for whatever it is. It was ok being the water girl with the big firehose, and I liked being a dragon, but I really would like a piece of the action!

PyroGrl - May 7, 2005 7:44 pm (#2943 of 2965)

Dang. I'm not allowed to get a Premium account. I want an avatar! I just made three really cool ones and I'm making more, and I'd like to show them off.

Wow, guys, thanks for the rescue mission! I feel much better (and safer) now that I'm not dangling by my straight jacket anymore. Did anyone get poor fainting Ticker off the roof of that building?

Liz, that's right that I was both a beater and a cheerleader last season, but how 'bout this- I'll temporarily give up my position as beater, and try out for it again. That way, new members will have a fair try, even though It looks like I'm not nice enough to entirely give it away? Fair? LOL

Liz Mann - May 7, 2005 8:59 pm (#2945 of 2965)

Hee hee! It'd probably be better to do tryouts after the move to give missing players a chance to turn up.

Ticker - May 7, 2005 9:45 pm (#2946 of 2965)

I wasn't fainting,... er, just, um,... ducking. Some goofball was throwing stuff at us & I opened my mouth to shout out about being more careful and POOF! I'm a goose. I fed one to Aria & she changed into a mouse. We were able to fly down with no problem. It just took me a while to get in because the mannequin didn't understand "honk" & "squeek" no matter how long we kept at it. We had to quit since some muggle boys thought it might be fun to catch old Mother Goose. Grrrrrrr. Next time, I want the Mangy-Mutt-Munchy.

In an effort at fair play, I will try out again for my chaser position, but I should warn you all that I've gotten really good at that roll-thingy Liz taught us, (which name I can't remember - the jello, it's from the jello...). I would like to see Istari make the team since she did such a wonderful job sub-Keeping. I know, I know - Pyro caught the snitch before she had to block any goals, but didn't she look spectacular flying around the hoops with that mountain goat stuck by its horns in her bedpan?

Istari Jones - May 8, 2005 1:38 pm (#2947 of 2965)

Yep. Gotta love them mountain goats!

PyroGrl - May 8, 2005 6:04 pm (#2948 of 2965)

Well. I'm prepped for the first match. Watch me!

*gets on bedpan and zooms around** See? See? Look at me! I'm flying over the old St. Mungo's! Wow, it's so pretty...What's that? It's silver and...AHHH! It's the ghost of LJ!!

*Ghost of LJ flies up and through the bedpan, which splits in two**

I'm falling! My bedpan is broken! Quick, we must order in a new one!

Ow. I broke my little toe!!

Merlin's beard! That was some fall! Are you alright, Pyro? Quick, where's Madam Poppy?

P.S. Who is LJ again, exactly? I haven't been in St Mungo's long enough to remember him and although I've heard him mentioned loads of times I can't remember who he is now.

LJ (Lime Jello) was She Of Many Names' Evil Purple Sloth who became our mascot. Apparently he didn't survive the move.

Oh Liz, I added you as an affiliate. The site is redecorated and up, whoot!

Does anyone have a toe-sized cast?

Ticker - May 9, 2005 2:24 am (#2951 of 2965)

*Hands pyro a hollowed out snitch...* Will this work?

PyroGrl - May 9, 2005 2:55 am (#2952 of 2965)

It should work nicely. Thanks Ticker! **puts it on** Lovely.

prof sprout - May 9, 2005 11:58 am (#2953 of 2965)

Residents I've missed a lot. I don't know if I'll be able to supervise the move to the new location. As many of you know, I'm going to be super busy in the next month. (I'm getting married in 33 days.) Then I'll be gone for 8 days on a Caribbean cruise. Maybe we can set up a game with the Aruba Arrows again while I'm down there with Mr. Professor Sprout. Well, I better get going. More stuff to do.

Liz Mann - May 9, 2005 12:08 pm (#2954 of 2965)

Congrats Prof. Sprout!

wolfgrl - May 9, 2005 6:27 pm (#2955 of 2965)

Who's got Malfoy's credit card? I have a few things to buy for Tuesday's um, event. (you remember, ip-kay's irthday-bay arty-pay....) I've charmed the locks to flip over on Monday night so that those who come in the main doors can't get back out, and those who leave their rooms won't be able to get back in, so we should have plenty of people around to celebrate. I've also been trainig some of Amy's critters to belch "Happy Birthday!" while simultaneously lighting the birthday candles - not an easy task I tell you. *Points with bandaged fingers to burnt off eyebrows...* But I really think we need more chocolate.

added edit: Ticker, I still have Malfoy's credit card. It has not been used lately and using it could cause problems; however I am game if you are. (note: max of 9 more post on this thread.) – Kip

another added edit: (jumps, turns & sees Kip right behind her...)Kip!!!! Well, howdy! (sheepish grin...) So you heard all that? Well, anyway... when have we ever been afraid of causing problems with Malfoy's credit card?

PyroGrl - May 9, 2005 11:00 pm (#2957 of 2965)

Well, I have kidnapped Draco Malfoy. If Lucius ever tries to punish us for using his credit card we can always...persuade...him to leave us alone. *evil Plan laugh*

Eight more posts!

Wow - I wonder who will be the lucky one to first open the doors to our new home? It's only 7 posts away now... *takes a fond look at my room, shared with Ticker, Istari, Aria, and all of Aria's toys* Whoever first finds these doors locked, be sure to throw open the doors to the new one!!! (Start the new thread!)

Edit: If you come here and find the doors locked (unable to post), check down in the "General FanFiction Discussions" section. That is where the new St. Mungo's thread will first show up, before a host has a chance to move it. If there is already one there, post away! If there isn't, congratulations! - you have the honor of cutting the ribbon and starting it yourself!

Istari Jones - May 10, 2005 1:10 am (#2959 of 2965)

It is ohhh, so tempting to do repeat posting until the last post is reached just so I can start the new thread. It is even more tempting to stay up online until after midnight so the big birthday event....uhhh...surprise...thingie can get started.

* Packs away the last of the butterfly nets, checks and makes sure butterflies are comfy in their traveling cage*

Oh, it's always sad to leave your home for a new one. But it won't take long for the new St. Mungo's to feel like home.

Pyro, I would be more than happy to step in for you as seeker until your toe feels better. Here, let me help you with those suitcases and such. *evil chuckle* I have some Jello for you, it will make you feel better....*suppresses another evil chuckle*

Oooo, a party, here let me take Lucius's credit card and get a few things. Don't worry, I'll get lots and lots and lots and lots of chocolate.

I hope we find all of our missing players. I remember when Abby got lost in a suitcase for several months. Maybe we will find them somewhere here. We should split up so we can get everything done on time. Someone should search the attic and make sure nothing is being left behind there. Then we should search each and every floor, checking all closests, nooks and crannys. Ticker, want to go shopping with me?

Congrats, Prof. Sprout! Are you serving Lime Jello at the reception?

Emily - May 10, 2005 10:13 pm (#2961 of 2965)

Congrats, Prof. Sprout!

Ooh, a party and then a quidditch match when we move will be fun!

Last Post! Hurrah!

Um... yeah... I do have an excuse for posting... I forgot last time- happy birthday Kip!

And, I need to pack real quick before we move. *quickly throws everything in sight into suitcase*

Edit- and yes, I know I could have edited the last one. What's my excuse?- I am insane, after all. Why else would I be here?

Edit II - so, when does the new one get here? I can't wait!

Edit III - never mind, I read back and discovered that I could start it. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!
