I agree that whatever he decides now must be a lucky decision - even if it goes against his better judgement on an ordinary day. I have suggested some hesitation only to show that he is not totally unscrupulous normally. He may make the love potion or any other potion ... it is even possible that he makes a potion for one purpose and uses it in the end for a different (unexpected but legal) purpose, solving a suddenly arising new difficulty, for example. We will see...

request made with good intentions, ... so... I dunno, this Felix Felicis storyline seems a bit complicated for us to get a handle on or suss out... hope we figure it out soon. Our best five words stories, at least in my opinion, are the ones where we keep things simple.
I dunno if my five words fit the the idea of what Sluggy's thinking would be like under the influence of Felix, since I must confess, I don't really know what the 24 year-old Sluggy would think while not under its influence, LOL!
So I'm really not trying to stall, and hope that these words work one way or the other.
EDIT: When I posted my comment the other day, re: it being a good thing that Daphne was in this story, I had thoughts of Jane Austen books and heroines, and the romance of those stories, and the matchmaking, and the pairing up of people. I thought this story had a certain air of that genre.

help a damsel in distress. Seems like the kind of thing confident and cocky Felix would say to Sluggy.
No worries, Julia, I didn't think you were, or that anybody was. The four of us have written 145 posts out of 400, and it just seems, to me anyway, given the pacing/frequency of the post contributions, when compared to other stories, that this not one of our faster-flowing stories. I know in my case, I'll have a look at a post, try to think of something to follow-up with, but not really having a sense yet of what works/doesn't work where Felix is concerned, I wait for someone else to post. Sometimes the next post helps, but then, at other times, I decide to wait again for a post with five words that drive the plot more, in a specific way. I don't remember her eye colour being mentioned before. 
I know we mentioned her hair, but I don't remember the eyes. But maybe she is a Metamorphmagus. That might explain why all the boys admired her so much at school. She could subtly change her appearance depending on who she was trying to impress! Still, we can always change the eye colour if we need to.

Belladonna Black, the blue-eyed belle. I remembered that detail, and the blonde cascading hair. To keep things simple, I will change her eyes to the original blue, a dark blue now, instead of having to explain the dark brown eyes somehow. We still have Sluggy's plan to work out. One plot idea is enough to be getting on with, methinks.

Unless someone else has another idea, I previously suggested something that would make the chap in question forget ever meeting Daphne before (when she was afflicted with Spattergroit!) and allow her a second chance at a first impression. There's less deception involved with this approach. However, I would imagine that such a potion would require a 'bit' of Daphne, for the 'specificus' part, so they would have to go and see her. Maybe she's at Hogwarts for some reason (watching a cousin play Quidditch or something) so they go there, bumping into Professor Dippet in the process.
But if someone has another idea, that's fine too!
