Duh! Of course!
That's a great idea, but for a second there I read your suggestion as, 'or they could kiss the unicorn.'

Now Newt can do something to prevent the unicorn coming between them, and it can be all symbolic.

around behind the unicorn, dragging
- Spoiler:
- I'm having a hard time picturing this scene. Newt lifted Porpentina off her feet, but then he started running? Is he carrying her? I didn't think he could be, but I can imagine him still having hold of her hand. I guess he could have reacted by spinning around, lifting Porpentina up but then putting her down again a short distance from the unicorn, then grabbing her hand and running with her. I would definitely picture it as playful rather than frightened, but I'm just finding it hard to visualise this sequence. How do you see it?

I wasn't sure how to continue after Newt lifted Porpentina (they had already kissed), but I could somehow imagine that he was strong enough to run a few steps (OK, not too fast) carrying her, perhaps pretending he was "rescuing" her from a persistent rival. But I don't mind changing the words if you tell me how. (I haven't been on top form this week. There is a lot of work at the school and when I get to write my five words I'm too tired to think of anything really good.)

Don't worry, Julia. It makes sense when you explain it. I've probably just been a bit dense this week. Perhaps Newt could make a joke now about rescuing his damsel in distress or something.
