My immediate thought was to follow 'refurbish your' with 'kitchen' but then I thought that sounded more like Trelawney and would be too mundane for Firenze.
Hopefully some of the others will join in PAH. The more the merrier, especially with horoscope writing.

I'm here! It's just been crazy busy, and I hadn't noticed the story was posted. I did like it in the end. There were some great lines. I think the slight meandering without being quite sure what was coming next suits the twins. 
It may be easy for us to remember that whenever we get to a countdown post that is a multiple of 5 we go to the next sign.

No, no, no. Sorry. I was just commenting on my fortuitous choice of words. Since you had Mercury at zenith, I just picked a planet at random to be at perihelion and chose Venus. Then when I looked up Libra, I found that it was ruled by Venus, so I was pretty impressed with myself, that's all.
Julia, I have read your new riddle, but haven't been able to come up with anything remotely resembling a sensible guess yet.
