Darned if I know what that means... so it looks like I have no trouble with vague.
Thanks, Puck!
EDIT: On my screen, we're on a new page now – yours must've been the 15th post on page 64, so here's the list again:
Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, and Taurus.

Thanks PAH, I thought it was rather inspired! Coincidentally, Libra is ruled by Venus. I checked it out after I posted.

No, no, no. Sorry. I was just commenting on my fortuitous choice of words. Since you had Mercury at zenith, I just picked a planet at random to be at perihelion and chose Venus. Then when I looked up Libra, I found that it was ruled by Venus, so I was pretty impressed with myself, that's all.
Julia, I have read your new riddle, but haven't been able to come up with anything remotely resembling a sensible guess yet.

focus your undivided attention on
PAH, sorry for not saying anything about the previous story yet, but when I came over to Five Words, I realized you were already half-way into the present story. I wanted to participate, and I had to try really hard to come up with something worthy of Firenze! LOL. (Not sure if I succeeded.)
So our initial hesitation about the plot notwithstanding, it turned out a really funny story. I had difficulty participating in the writing towards the end, but that was my problem, not the story's. I still think that writing something consistently humorous needs serious planning (in general), but I officially take back my earlier observation that Gred-and-Forge stories are not our strong points.

Aaahhh! Okay Verity! Yes, very fortuitous... as if it was written in the stars.
Thanks for your post-story comments, Julia! Re: "coming up with something worthy of Firenze", you did splendidly. It's like what Verity said earlier, just "keep it as vague as possible." I think we're all managing quite nicely to do just that.

These starting words are so tricky sometimes. I'm like, "What other heavenly body and its movement can I mention?"

As Saturn traverses the degrees
- Spoiler:
- of some zodiac sign or other... (I got degrees from Googling 'As Saturn traverses'; I was thinking 'the heavens' but decided that was even too vague for Firenze!)
