He doesn't need to disillusion Pig, does he? Pig is not on the Ministry's 'wanted' list, and he can be hidden easily. I'm afraid it would be very easy to lose such a small creature if he were not only small but also invisible.

I think they should stay where they are. They have fresh water nearby, and while the food might not be great, at least he's had something to eat. All he needs is a comfortable tree or something to rest against. I guess it would be too risky to try to accio a tent!

The reason I went with the thunderstorm is that I wasn't sure what to follow up 'When they woke up..." with. I was originally thinking that aybe the sun was beginning to set, but then I remembered this is summer, and the sun doesn't set until around 10pm, especially considering they are still probably quite far north. And I don't think they've been asleep that long!

LOL, I know, Verity! We have just had a long weekend here with a lot of rain and snow!
Sirius seems to be quite good with a wand, considering that he must have had little or no opportunity to use one in the past 14 years.

Snow? Here it's been hotter than ever. Around 37C but with a heat index of 41C. The pool was lovely this morning.
Now that Sirius has a wand (and I guess it's like riding a bike - you never forget) perhaps he can disguise himself and get a decent feed. I'd like to think of him having a nice lunch in a country pub, although maybe that's a little unrealistic!
