I wasn't sure what to follow he with. Earlier we had only mentioned a high-pitched voice, not a person.

Yes, I have survived the camp.  It was exciting. The place was on the edge of a forest in a beautiful environment. Walking outside after dark was a unique experience (no man-made light for quite a while). This didn't stop the really adventurous from actually exploring the forest and a cave at night. There were some funny games, too, as well as an in-service for some of us, teachers.  It was a camp specifically for the freshmen, and it was good to get to know them a little. The camp ended on Saturday, but I didn't come home, instead I spent the remaining weekend with my family at a holiday resort in a different part of the country. I came back to the city yesterday (Monday) early morning and went to work at once, still without coming home. But this week we only have meetings and do some general planning. Teaching starts next week.
