And Dobby was the Malfoys' elf, also the quote about him involves Malfoy Sr. Originally, I thought I'll just find one quote for some of the main characters. But when I started looking for quotes, and wanted to find one about Draco, somehow everything I could find was said by him. So I decided to make it Malfoy-centered.

Here are the answers! I counted answers as correct if spelling was only off by one letter, but “remember the Wizard Barufio, who said “s” instead of “f” and ended up with a buffalo on his chest!”

1. The Tickling Charm: Rictusempra.

2. A charm to make the victim’s legs dance: Tarantallegra. Some of you were SO close on this one!

3. This one cuts the victim: Sectumsempra.

4. Used to restrain or tie up the victim: Incarcerous. Yes, Snape used it in the Shrieking Shack, and Umbridge tried to use it on the centaurs.

2. What subject does Professor Trelawney seem sincerely interested in at Slughorn's Christmas party? The Rotfang Conspiracy - the theory that the Aurors are attempting to bring down the Ministry of Magic using a combination of Dark Magic and gum disease. (I'm not sure how you could be suffering from it though, Madam Pince - you might have to explain that one!)

3. What condition does Luna suggest Zacharias Smith may be suffering from? Loser’s Lurgy

4. What item should you carry if you are concerned about warding off Gulping Plympies? A Gurdyroot

5. What does Luna not seem to need to do as much as normal humans? Blink ñ everyone got this one!!

6. Help Luna out with the name she is looking for: "...but now that big Hufflepuff players got the quaffle from her, I can't remember his name, it's something like Bibble - no, Buggins - " “It’s Cadwallader!” Nobody got this one, but I was tempted to give a point for "Broboolooglee"!

Apparently this question was harder than I thought, so I’ve modified it and given a full point for just one correct answer, which could have been: drowned, dropped off buildings, poisoned or cooked in pies (double check the menu next time you eat at the "Quibbler Cafe" !!!.

8. Who was Luna responding to when she said, "You can laugh, but people used to think there were no such things as the Blibbering Humdinger or the Crumple-Horned Snorkack!" She was responding to Lavender and Parvati, who were laughing at her appearance ñ although she assumed they were laughing at what she had said. Well done, azi, you were the only person who got this one!

Okidokies, the answers! I was strict.

1. What is Umbridge's middle name? - Jane

2. Name an item of clothing that the character is described as wearing. - Any of...a black velvet bow, pink hairband (Alice band), fluffy pink cardigan, tweed cloak and matching hat.

3. What position did Umbridge gain in addition to her teaching/ministry post? - I was looking for High Inquisitor, but the question obviously wasn't particularly well phrased.

4. What did Educational Decree 26 state (doesn't need to be exact)? - 'Teachers are hereby banned from giving students information not strictly related to the subjects they teach.'

5. Which teachers were put on probation? - Trelawney, Hagrid and Snape (1/3 point for each)

6. Complete the phrase - '...perfecting what needs to be perfected and ________ wherever we find practices what ought to be prohibited.' - Pruning

7. How did Umbridge get Filch on her side? - Decree number 29 allowed Filch to chain/whip/generally maim etc., also an expulsion order for Peeves. (1/2 point for each)

8. Where did Umbridge put Harry and the twin's broomsticks when she confiscated them? - Initially her office, then the dungeon for Harry's after the twins left. (1/2 point for each)

9. Which creature was Lee Jordan levitating into Umbridge's office? - Niffler

4. What is the name of the plant that Neville's Great Uncle brought him back from Assyria? Mimbulus Mimbletonia

1. What was the subject of the nasty essay Harry had to do for Snape over the summer? Shrinking potions or Shrinking solutions (But I like virginiaelizabeth's answer of "forgetfulness potion and their uses.")

2. What is the title of the book Harry sees in Flourish and Blotts that has a Grim on the cover? Death Omens: What to do when you know the worst is coming. (I gave half credit for "Death Omens" and half credit for "What to do when you know the worst is coming" but you had to have it exactly.)

3. What did Professor Lupin say to the Dementor on the train? (must have full quote.) None of us is hiding Sirius Black under our cloaks. Go. (I had to be really strict on this one. There were several variations, but I only took the exact and full quote.)

4. Why did Professor Kettleburn, the old Care of Magical Creatures teacher, retire? To spend more time with his remaining limbs. (Everyone got this one!)

5. What is the charm Lupin used to splint Ron's broken leg? Ferula (I didn't take off for spelling)

6. What day and time did Hermione have her Charms and Ancient Runes exams? Monday at 1:00PM (I gave half credit for the day and half credit for the time)

7. How many points behind Slytherin was Gryffindor prior to the Quidditch final? 200 points (Wood kept reminding Harry to catch the snitch "only if we're more than 50 points up!")

8. Give two colors of the hippogriffs in the first Care of Magical Creatures class. (Be specific.) Stormy gray, bronze, pinkish roan, gleaming chestnut, inky black (I was lenient here. I gave half point for each of the two, and I gave credit as long as you said the color, such as black instead of inky black.)

9. What is the name of Lavender's pet rabbit? Binky

10. What is the acceleration of the Firebolt that Harry sees advertised in Diagon Alley? 150 miles per hour in 10 seconds (Only Good Evans got this completely right! But I gave virginiaelizabeth half a point for "up to 150 miles per hour")

Answers!! I must say I made it very difficult for myself by asking questions which were so subjective, but each question did have a particular answer of moment in mind so I've given marks for being close enough, or at least getting the right idea. Here goes!

1. Who was the first friend Harry made upon re-entering the wizarding world? Hagrid

2. How did Harry first prove that he was more than just a famous name? This was probably the hardest questions, but there was a moment after his second Quidditch match, when he caught the snitch in about 5 minutes, when Harry reflected: "He'd really done something to be proud of now - no one could say he was just a famous name anymore."

3. What fear plagued Harry during his second year at Hogwarts that he never confided in Ron and Hermione? That he should have been a Slytherin. I didn't give marks for being the heir of Slytherin, because he did actually discuss that with Ron and Hermione.

4. What happened for the first time ever in the chapter titled "Owl Post"? Harry received a birthday card. He had received presents before, from the Dursleys, just not "proper" ones! (note: this was the first chapter of PoA. The final chapter is called "Owl Post Again")

5. During their argument in their fourth year, what did Harry throw at Ron with the comment: "it might give you a scar - that's what you want isn't it?" A Potter Stinks/Support Cedric Diggory badge.

OK, here are the answers and the results. I had to be kind of strict on a couple of them because there was such variation in the answers. A lot were close but not exact.

1) What Muggle sweet did Dumbledore offer McGonagall in the first chapter of PS? (They are standing outside the Dursleys' waiting to drop off Harry.) Sherbet lemon or lemon drop (I accepted either since it varied depending on the edition)

2) What was Dumbledore's comment after hearing that Lockhart had lost his memory from a backfired memory charm in CoS? "Impaled upon your own sword, Gilderoy!" (You had to get this exactly to get the point.)

3) What event in PoA prompted Lupin to say: "I don't think any of us have seen Professor Dumbledore that angry."? The Dementors coming onto the Quidditch pitch and causing Harry to fall from his broom

4) What did Dumbledore order (from his plate) at the Yule Ball in GoF? Pork chops

5) What two steps against Voldemort did Dumbledore recommend that Cornelius Fudge take at the end of GoF? Remove Azkaban from control of the Dementors and send envoys to the giants (Though I loved freshwater's answer of "two steps off a one step pier!" LOL!) I gave 1/2 point for each.
