Wasn't sure if the "er" counted as a word. If not let me know, and I will use 6 next time.

Hmm.. for some reason I think it should be 'would' be appreciated, not 'will' be appreciated. Dunno the grammatical name for it... it just sounds right to me with 'would'.

Puck, you need to use 4 words next time... 'er' is a word, and you used 6 after that post.

- to also enjoy your peace and quiet ... is what I was thinking. For example, Ginny could suggest moving his portrait downstairs into the hall if he wasn't particularly helpful. Or she could maybe say something to appeal to his Slytherin side - that he'd get the credit for helping them.

We have a saying here... it's easier to catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
I'm wondering if we are all of the same mind about how Phineas regards/speaks to Harry post-DH. What do people think? I think we need to be consistent one way or the other so that as we write his dialogue, we have a better idea what to write. For me, I thought post-DH Phineas would be a bit, well, nicer to Harry... stemming from a newfound respect for him. But if others think he hasn't changed towards Harry, I'll go with that.
Any thoughts?

I agree with both of you! I think Phineas is condescending towards people in general, it's just part of his personality, but he wouldn't be quite as condescending to Harry as in previous years.

to go besides the Headmaster's
- Spoiler:
- I agree with Verity. We should keep his characteristic style and indicate that is not just one of 's students any more. Besides, has taught him to be more respectful towards . Then again, perhaps he still has issues with having been blindfolded and forced to stay in a bag! BTW, if he does, this would be a convenient time for him to mention it since they have just promised to find him another place... LOL.
- Spoiler:
- BTW ... has no one noticed that I've completed my first year? ***proudly waves exam results***

Thanks, Puck!
Is it OK to call him just "Phineas" in the narrative parts? I'm not sure.
