Sorry about that (perhaps Goyle confuses the different meanings of 'light' and thinks the proverb is appropriate when talking about fire.). I think it's time to include a spelling mistake or two. (I was tempted to make Goyle misspell 'as', too. )
Phew, and I thought we had already seen all of Goyle's answer to this particular question! I imagine he tends to give concise answers to exam questions.

(Deliberate spelling mistake. )
It seems like Goyle went a little off-track with his answer but it seems like that would be in character.

That's OK Julia. It looks like this will be another loooooooong drawn-out story. I wonder where Mona is.

and quickly wrote, Absolutely incorrect.
As this question is just one of many, I didn't think we were ready for a final grade of 'Dreadful' or 'Troll'... yet.
I am fine Julia, just busy. I have looked in a few times, but didn't really have any ideas of what to write before, so left it until another time.
Verity, it is entirely possible this story will be written at a leisurely pace. It seems to happen more and more here, as time goes on.

Nice to see you PAH. There I was thinking you were probably busy on Pottermore, exploring the new chapters and collecting lots of points for Gryffindor!

for this. Hmmm... Granger, Hermione
Maybe she looks/reaches for another exam to read? I know I do that when I come across a clunker of an answer in one student's test.
Verity, as it happens, I do check in on Pottermore frequently, and the PM FB groups of which I am a member. And I am earning points, but at a much slower pace than I did in year 1 — no ending with 6 digits for me at the end of Year 2's cup race! — but I have only ever tried to earn points for the house of Blue and Bronze, as I am a . But sadly, I have contributed to some of Gryffindor's points, as I lose duels to Gryffindors more often than I'd like to. I have been similarly giving to Hufflepuff and Slytherin. I am hoping to make 3107 points before the 31st of July, in honor of and JKR, herself.
I haven't forgotten about Story #147, I promise.

Thanks for the suggestion PAH!
And what was I thinking, writing Gryffindor in my last post? Someone must have Confunded me!
The new chapters on Pottermore bode well for the rest of COS. There were only 42 points to be had in the whole of PS, so having 31 already in only 4 chapters makes it seem like there will be a lot more interactivity.

Come on... Griselda might not say this out loud, but it's entirely plausible that she would think it.
Hi, Julia.
Verity, I have gotten to know a vision-impaired Pottermore user and fellow Ravenclaw in a FB group, who can access a lot of the site by using a screen reader. However, making potions and dueling are out of the scope of what her screen reader and other visual aids for the computer can do, and the new mini-games are not accessible to her, either. Many of us signed an on-line petition months ago that was sent to PM asking them to consider making the site more accessible to visually-impaired users. So far, it doesn't look like my friend will be able to earn points any other way except by the first-time collection of hidden items, which is such a shame since she is eager to participate in this activity. So she has the inclination and the time, but PM has not offered her, and many others, the means. Maybe they will think about having a more accessible site for all users in the 3rd book. It would be a shame if, eventually, all seven books were limited in this way.

- Bonaccord - the founder and first Supreme Mugwump of the Confederation - it was founded sometime before the 1690s, according to the Harry Potter Wiki, and had the aim of uniting the wizarding world across the planet. One of it's most important contributions was the 1692 International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy.

I just wanted to see what all the different formatting for the finished version of this story would be, so put it in a spoiler box.

I just wanted to see what all the different formatting for the finished version of this story would be, so put it in a spoiler box.
- Spoiler:
- Griselda Marchbanks riffled through the exam papers, shaking her head now and then, and chuckling once or twice, when she came across a particularly humorous answer to a question. For example, for this question about Wizard-Muggle relations in the early sixteenth century, during the North Berwick Witch Trials:
Curiously, Griselda glanced at the name on the top of the page. Goyle, Gregory... The surname rang a bell. She vaguely remembered another Goyle, who used to give similar answers. The pumpkin doesn't roll far from the patch, she thought, and continued reading. The Muggles of North Berwick were mostly miserable, because of the cloudy days and cold weather. So they lit fires and burnt witches to keep warm. Therefore, Wizard-Muggle relations were heated.
Oh dear, Griselda mused, it's clear that Gregory Goyle has no idea of Wizard-Muggle relations, and only the vaguest idea of how to write. She picked up her quill, dipped it in red ink and quickly wrote, Absolutely incorrect. Many hands make lite work, as they neded lots of Muggles to make a fire. Muggles aren't as good as wizards at anything and they should be kept in there place.
Maybe I'm getting too old for this. Hmmm... Granger, Hermione... perhaps this witch has more of her wits about her than this dolt of a wizard.
Griselda flicked ahead to different question.
'Explain the reasons why the International Confederation Wizards was formed.'Pierre Bonaccord, the first Supreme Mugwump
I used a light yellow background for the student answers so that they would stand out against the white background of the spoiler box. in the finished story, the background of the student answers would be white against the peach background of the regular screen page.
