Story #148, "Cross Examinations" is posted at long last. I liked the section where we had to write the student essays, especially Goyle's. He must have done marginally better in the other subjects to scrape together the requisite number of passing grades.

Thanks for posting the last story, PAH. I think the title was one of the best things about it!
Reading it back, it felt a lot shorter than it did during the writing of it, more of a vignette than a story. I feel like it was a decent story, but it could have benefitted from some more story development and elaboration. It was a slow story to write, and I think they always suffer. I think our best stories usually move at a faster pace, but I guess those days are gone.

As for the last story, I agree with Verity. Goyle's answer was brilliantly dumb , but it started losing interest after that. Not too bad, though.
